I know it was briefly mentioned in the Birthday thread, but I want to wish our Southern neighbours a happy Independence Day. Oddly I didn't do much for Canada day, but I'm going to a party tonight. Don't know if that counts as an Independence Day party or not.
Wait.. So why is a Canadian celebrating an American holiday? Also thanks for spelling neighbours the right way. ^_^
I love Independance Day soo much. It's a shame that it has to be raining all day though Also, thanks for wishing us a happy Independance Day!!
Technically I'm American, the United States just hijacked the name of the continent. Anyways we're not celebrating Independence day, we're just having a Saturday night BBQ on July 4th. Though once I did go to an Independence day party, but that was because someone's girlfriend was from the United States.
It's neighBORS, I will never spell it another way XD But anyone can celebrate holidays they choose <_<; (EDIT: I didn't mean that in a rude way, which is how it might be interpreted XD)
Neighbours Sorry but I'm anal about these things, some 'friends' of mine are having a 'lets celebrate American Independance Day even though we're not American' party. Hmm I didn't get invited.....
I'm american, therefore I use our spelling of it, which does not include the u. (sorry about the u bold/under, saw the our as the word and couldnt resist, otherwise I would've phrased that a bit differently ) Why not throw your own party? XD
Personally, I have a problem with July 4th. I love the idea and the freedom and the, well, independence that came with the first Independence Day, but not what it has become. I love both of you so much right now.
When you become president, you WILL declare the official language of the United States of America British English right?
