Default London Pride (and others)

I went to London Pride today. Was fabulous! I really loved it. Felt like I fit in immediately. The transvestites are lovely and i had a chat with a few of them and the entire atmostphere is brilliant, I reeeeeealllllly enjoyed it. I wanna know if anyone else here popped down to London for it and what they thought about it. (bear in mind this was my first pride). Also, what other pride events have other people been to and how were they?

I have made a post about Athens pride, which took place at 13th of June.
It was the 5th Athens Pride this year, so it war really great! About 5.000 people went to the parade and stayed after at a concert that was held with great music! The whole day was like a big party!
Of course there can be no comparison when it comes to London Pride, it sure is older and more organised than ours, but we are looking really forward on making it a BIG event! (our pride can't even get the support of our city-mayor yet.. the funny thing is that the mayor himself is gay but had said so, he wouldn't be voted hah)
so anyway, I hope you has a BLAST
hopefully I'll join you at future Pride events

I know two ECers that went. I really wanted to go, but I had to do to my school's prize-giving day

I was there! I was in the parade!

Did anyone see me? I was with a group of people with white "blah" t-shirts, and I had kitty ears and was on a lead :P

It was the first time I've been to pride, but I'm hoping to go to Norwich Pride on the 25th!
