Okay so it's not really a C.I.A secret anymore. But at one point it was a very covert mission:

Anyone know what this is?

I'll give you a hint...

It's actually a UBER SUPER AWESOME SPY SHIP used for 1 mission and that was to retrieve a fallen Soviet Submarine and get intelligence info. Which at the time (The Cold War) was definately a high priority.

They called it the Glomar Exployer.

Anyways the stort behind the whole ship is really an interesting one but I think Wikipedia could explain it better then I could. Definately a good read if your into random trivia.

The best part is...How exactly they got to keep this big huge ship a secret and out of the eyes of the public.

Pretty sneaky C.I.A...

Anyways thought this story was worthy of a little chat. Specially for those of you who are bored and want to learn about a C.I.A conspiracy. Or who already know about it..

BTW, I learned it from the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader...Learn while you expel waste! YAY!

My uncle worked for the CIA.. He was a spy against the Soviet Union. He worked mostly by air doing covert operations.

Wow.. To keep that secret is pretty amazing.

Though obviously it's not been kept a very good secret if we know about it.
