Sweet Jesus! I was just reading someone's profile, and I realized that I was cynically criticising everything that he wrote about love in my head. I'm pretty sure this is a problem here! What shall Brett do?!? D:

I've mentioned this great book a couple times. It's called "The Dark Side of the Light Chasers" and one of the core themes in the book is that any time we have something that upsets us very strongly, it is pretty much guaranteed to be something we are afraid of in ourselves.

So in this case... you find yourself criticizing love, or at least someone's views on it... so perhaps in some way you don't feel worthy of love, or somehow you're fearful of it, or trying to say to yourself that you don't need it when you do?

Do any of those resonate for you?

Calchip has a point though. I am pretty insecure about my love life. I don't even like anyone, and I haven't for about a year.....that concerns me.
