If you want to then you definitely should. A lot of my friends don't like my hair short but I do and i don't listen to them. No one's opinion really matters but for the record I like your hair short with the sweeping bangs but that's just me. I'd just do it though. If you don't like it it will grow and you never have to get it cut like that again and if you do then you have another hair style that you can wear.
Bottom line-do it.

I agree. Bangs look kinda messy and out of place to me.

Depends on what your face is like.

Some people look fat and ugly with bangs
Esp. Real heavy ones
And sometimes they can look childish if they're cut too high up

But some people (lady gaga for example) look totally ferosh with bangs

I don't know what bangs are so i will make a random comment about pulling a large triangle of stilton cheese out of your underwear to break the ice in hostile situations. The plus side being that nobody will puch anyone who does that, but then again nobody will talk to you either!
