Out to mum Location: UK Posts: 1,009 Join Date: Nov 2007 |  Update on my wonderful mum! As an update to coming out to my mum, I haven't really had any time to discuss it with her, but the other day we were talking and we were talking about the future and she peppered her conversation very casually with "And when you get a boyfriend or girlfriend" and "When you meet a nice man or woman" and she used the word "partner" rather than boyfriend. It was done in a totally no-big-deal way.  . I'm so glad I came out because this is one of the first times I managed not to feel dreadful after a conversation about my romantic life, as would happen before. Thank you everyone! I haven't been on here for ages but it's not because I don't love you all - it's because I'm very busy and things are starting to come together in my life  . But I will be back! |
