Though honestly, I think if you got those two together, they'd just have tea and pleasant conversation. Maybe Gandalf would beat Dumbledore at chess? I don't know!

(Edit: Er, totally read that as "who'd win in a fight", because I'm ILLITERATE. My preference is for Dumbledore, but Gandalf did kinda pull the whole 'hey guys, i kinda died but now i'm Gandalf the White!' thing, so maybe that edges in his favor? I need to re-read those books. My nerd cred is escaping!)

dumbledore hed chase the witch king apperating in front of him and surround him in white hot fire muhahaha....

gandalf is shockingly crud... he so weak lol the balrog was just a beast of fire i dont think it should of been as hard as it was.... i would just summon great typhoon jutsu and wash him away

I am going to Dumbledore...

In the movies... I prefer Gandalf... because well... The actor is better. (In my opinion) And they completely made Dumbledore a emotional old man in the movies. Sad, sad days.

Also... Dumbledore fought and captured his ex boyfriend who had the Elder Wand. Big win for Dumbledore. (that part depressed me when I found out they where ex's. p.s. I came to this conclusion LONG before he was outed... I just never wanted to say anything that would "tarnish" Dumbledore/the books to people. p.p.s. I live in the south...)

I'd say Dumbledore. After all, he was the only wizard who Voldemort ever feared. Besides, he somehow can form perfectly intricate plots and he always knows what you don't think he might have known before you realize he actually does know what you didn't know and before you know it he knows something else you wish you knew.
