I have a few. Alan Menken and The Sherman brothers for music. For actors, way too many. But right now I'm in love with Jane Krakowksi of 30 Rock and Broadway fame. Such comic timing.

I have three major ones. Rachel Maddow and Amanda Palmer are two that I've respected for a long time. I could go into why I <3 both of them but I would go on and on and on, haha!

It used to be just those two, but recently, I came across Melody Gardot's story and it just astounded me. Came to music as a part of music therapy after being hit by a car at 19. She has such a beautiful voice, makes such awesome music, and ohhh man. <3

I might just have huge crushes on all three of them, yes, why do you ask.

At risk of sounding cliche. Michael Jackson. I don't care if people thought he was weird he was a damn musical genius and a kind hearted human being despite all the money, fame and bullshit. R.I.P dude xx
Also, without intentionally creating a theme, Elizabeth Taylor. I love her! She's just immense period plus she's funny. Haha I was watching a video of her and Michael at Christmas and she had me in hysterics cause he got a Super Soaker. She got all excited and you just heard this cry of: 'I want a water gun! No! I want a water machine gun!!!' LOL can anyone else see Liz Taylor with a water pistol? Win!

I was pretty much ridiculously hysterical, I think I must've cried for days!

Actually also, I can't believe I left him off my list! My uncle. He died of cancer a few years ago but even up until the end he was upbeat and nuts. A few weeks before he died I think it was, he must have known he didn't have long left so despite the fact he could barely walk for being so ill he just decided 'Hey, I've got one life and not a lot left of it, screw you I'm off on holiday!' and pissed off out of the country for a few days. Nyaha, he was cool.

Elizabeth Taylor is awesome. So what she got a little weirder with age but she's a damn good actress. I love her in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Bjork is my biggest idol, but Coretta Scott King, Margaret Atwood, Michael Stipes and Wilfrid Laurier are all people I would consider idols.

Hands down one of my biggest idols is Sharon Osbourne, I just love her. Joan Rivers is another really big influence. That woman is like the energizer bunny, she just never stops going. I predict she'll be around forever just like herpes. I also admire Rachael Ray, Nigella Lawson, Kathy Griffin, Whoopi Goldberg, Ellen Degeneres, Rosie O'Donnell, and quite a few others. I seem to admire a lot of women, but as far as male role models go I love Gordon Ramsay.
