Location: St. Louis, Missouri Age: 22 Posts: 270 Join Date: Feb 2009 |  Any Kansas City people around? Hey guys. Anyone here live in Kansas City, Missouri? I'll be moving to KC in late December to early January. I'm going to be attending the University of Missouri - Kansas City starting January 2010. I'm still apartment hunting with a roommate. We think we found somewhere, but we're looking to see if we can possibly get closer to campus at a reasonable price. I've thought about North Kansas City. That seems reasonable. I'm up for options though. I think it's in Riverside, MO. Do any of you guys have any good recommendations on areas to live in and areas to stay away from? Thanks! North Kansas City is the safest part of the city but it's the most expensive, The West side is the artsy/hispanic district and isn't the safest place. Downtown is always hell to get through. Riverside is a great place to live it's not too expensive, and it's still lovely.

Is there a good explanation as to why? LOL. That you know of. How much does rent usually run in NKC, or do you know? I found a place 5 minutes from campus, but I'm not sure I want directly in the middle of town, LOL. |
