OMG!
(And if you know me, I never type in chatspeak. This is my level of excitement.)

I got the job at the museum! I really REALLY wanted this. So bad. I was prepared to fight to the death over it.

I have not been this happy in months. I feel like I could fly.
She must have really liked me since I only just did the interview a little more than five hours ago. And OMG! Holy shit. OH MAN. I can't stop smiling.

Now, the only thing is that I must not get a huge crush on one of my supervisors as he is so handsome.

BLAH. TAKE THAT WORLD. You can't keep me DOWN.

I'd say waving this in my face would be like me waving a Shamus M'Cool 45 in your face. You wouldn't exactly understand what the big deal is, but you'd presumably be able to share in my excitement. So on that level, kick ass.

Corina,

I am guessing that your boss-to-be probably also considers herself really lucky to have found you as well. From what I know about your analytical mind, the depth of knowledge you have, and your willingness to research things... I would think that you would be the "dream employee" for someone at a museum... someone who will dive in and do everything to learn about what they're doing.

I hope it's a long and mutually beneficial business relationship for you and your new employer.
