Okay, so, I have been watching so many different comedians on Logo, the new gay channel owned by MTV. It is so funny, but I just want to see how many people like certian commidians. Now, I also will include Miss Katty Kathy Griffin, simply because she is one of the funniest people that I know. So, let see just who you like the most. Will it be miss Margerete Cho, maybe Alec Mapa, or even the great Kathy Griffin, just who will it be?

I can't vote any of them as my favorite. Bill Mahr and John Stewart are my two favorite comedians. George Carlin coming in a very very close third. I really like political humor, or dirty humor. I guess that about does it.

How odd, I've heard of none of them.

Eddie Izzard when he was still funny, Bill Bailey, Marcus Brigstocke, Simon Amstell, Jimmy Carr, Dara O'Briain, Jack Dee, Frankie Boyle, Dylan Moran... Only three of those that I haven't seen, as well.

If we're talking about openly gay, then Simon Amstell.

I'm so glad no one's mentioned Dane Cook. Cooke? Whatever. My stomache wants to eviscerate itself every time someone mentions how funny he is.

Anyways, I really like Mitch Hedberg, Demetri Martin, Sarah Silverman, and Kathy Griffin is funny too. Russell Peters.

Interestingly this thread was started almost two years ago, yet people seem to have heard of the comedians mentioned (I haven't but I guess they are American) so they are presumably still around.

Oh ye gods no, not Dane Cook.

I find him so incredibly dull.

Mitch Hedberg was pretty good though, I've named my 'band' after a little paraphrased quote of his. And Demetri Martin is a genius.

Eddie Izzard is by far my favorite.

Jeff Dunham is an extremely talented ventriloquist.

    Gabriel Iglesias is a must.

There are probably more but yeah... Eddie Izzard is by far my favorite. His comedy style is great and it also has history involved in it.

Lewis Black was to me funny but I can see how others wouldn't like him.

so...is the question really, "who is yer favorite gay friendly comedian?" because my favorite commedian is dane cook. my favorite in that list is a tie between kathy griffin, margaret cho, and alec mapa (hes filipino, and i'm 1/4 filipino). so, i can't vote.

also, in my opinion, coco peru is not funny  her jokes aren't funny, and i can't stand her mouth gestures haha

I didn't vote for any of them because I don't know who they are. I like Carlos Mencia, George Lopez, Mo'nique, Queen Latifah and I'm going to start watching Ellen DeGeneres.

Well out of the ones listed in this poll, I'd say Kathy Griffin. I really prefer Ellen though. Or Jerry Seinfeld or Ray Romano. Kate Clinton (another gay comdedian) is also extremely funny.

By the way, other than a few times, I have typically disliked Margaret Cho's work. I did love her piece on Bush and the word Nuclear and how he always mispronounces it.

    Why Edward Blake, of course.

Wait, wrong kind of comedian? Then I guess I'll have to say George Carlin.

Well I have no idea who any of those ppl are (are they all American?), but I still wanted to put my two cents in so: I personally prefer Australian comedians simply cos I can relate more easily to a lot more of their jokes

Adam Hills (who presents one of the funniest Aussie shows, Spicks and Specks)

Hamish and Andy (are hilarious and I personally think Andy is hot

Cal Wilson (is actually New Zealandish, but I still like her!)

and lastly, a non-Aussie, but still an awesome comedian is... Danny Bhoy
