What's your opinion of bears in the gay community?

Do you like them and do you tolerate them?

Personally I think they're sexy.

No sexual appeal, but I can definitely tolerate them... I hope that no one chooses the third option. That's just ridiculous.

oh...I thought we were talking about the animal bears (who are cute but I would not want to get to close to). But of course, this is a gay forum so this is about the people bears (who should be accepted as much as anyone else and are sometimes attractive in my eyes).

"Tolerate" is a horrible way to put it :P

Im not about to jump in the sac with a bear, but i more than "Tolerate" them. That word makes it sound like...i dunno...you dont "like" them, but you "put up" with them? Something like that.

I have nothing against Bears and i think they are an amazing and important part of our community.

i agree tollerate is a crap word lol but its the option i went with, were all different and its ok, variety is thfe spice of life, but im not a whole fan of labels but its all good.

I am notorious for my interest in hairy, stout men, but there's something about the look of bears that is too...strange, I guess? xD. Like, the mustaches, and the leather. If they presented themselves as more of a typical guy, I'd probably be attracted to them.

But either way, they are obviously a huge part of our community and should be respected. That issue goes far beyond issues of personal taste.

I like them, and I think since the LGBT community is all about acceptance so we can't just decide we don't like someone based on things like that. They may not do it for me sexually, but I think they are an important part of the community in general. That being said, I've never been with one, so I can't say I wouldn't try it first.

cause there's the traditional one which is for lack of a more direct word... fat hairy man

and there's the kind seen in the media, which is simply a hairy man, regardless of physique.

I like the 2nd one, but I can tolerate the 1st one.

Well, I don't find them particularly attractive, but they're a part of the community. I also don't find lots of people attractive, but I love them to death. I agree with Greggers, "tolerate" doesn't really cut it, but yeah.
