i figure since we have a "things that piss you off" thread, we should balance it out so we arent just always focused on the negative side.

so anyway, here is where you can let off your feelings of elation, what made your day just that much better?

ex: today, the guy i'm starting to like came up and talked to me, and i think he might be interested too. he has such a cute smile

My Anthro teacher spent 20 minutes of the period talking about sex, and the rest of the period talking about all the places she's traveled. (Probably over 70 countries by now.)

I adore that class. It's a nice break from my other classes.

Even though I felt like crap all day, it felt really good to learn that I didn't get the damn flu from my friend. Happy days.

Also, I finished reading The Little Friend today. 600 pages in one week, woo!

Annnnnd, bought my tickets for Dir en grey.

In chem a friend and I were drawing and he drew this unbearably cute little guy doing some dance with a recorder in his hand. For some reason every time I looked at the drawing it made me smile!

Also, listening to Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle" always makes me feel good about myself.

I was eating lunch outside the student union, some random older guy comes over and asks if he can sit down, and we end up having a pleasant half-hour long discussion about terrorism, zealots, and intolerance of people of different faiths, races, and sexual orientations, and how people generally fear change in a society.

It was neat! =D I love random awesome strangers.

I'm completely astounded at the positive responses and number of "I love you"s I got after coming out on Facebook today. I couldn't be happier.

Also, I've actually made it up this late and I'm still feeling surprisingly alert enough to finish my homework! There are still miracles in the world.
