i think the sex within the family was origannly considerd wrong because it can affect the child. but if two brothers love each other and want to you know . i dont mind what they do since its none of my busniess .

I can't see any real reason for it to be wrong - it doesn't hurt anyone, providing both brothers consent, but at the same time, ew. The title of this thread gave me a mental image involving my brother that I never ever want to have ever again.

Well initially I find it morally wrong. I mean I am not at all sexually attracted to my siblings. Just the thought of feeling that way towards them creeps me out. I think that incest is something most of us do not understand; hence it's bad reputation in society today. Most people are so used to living with a brother or sister, and have a preconceived notion of them that classifies them as "not sexual" in our minds.

Upon further thought and consideration I feel that as long as both are consenting and truly believe that there is no harm done, it would be alright. I saw a very interesting trailer for a movie dealing with the subject of gay brother incest for a Brazilian (I think) movie called "Do Começo ao Fim" that looked fascinating. Many people find incest to be disgusting, but this movie seems to portray the love that two brothers share in a very artistic light.

the only thing that its bad for really is reproduction as the gene pool becomes sterile and diesease in the bloodlien are much more likelly to be in teh child and by not cross reproduction tehres no new gentic defense...so meh its upto them nobody would be hurt be a tough life though as people can be judgemental bastards...

Exactly, it does sound familiar. I mean, it's definitely not for me, but neither is heterosexuality. And interestingly, incest (I assume for over 18s) is not illegal here in Belgium according to the great folks at wikipedia.

Why do we care? I've never really understood the huge incest taboo. I think living with my brothers for so long quenched any sort of sexual attraction I could have for them, but the thought doesn't gross me out. It just doesn't arouse me.
