Hey everyone, I'm back from Aspen! Hard to believe it's been a month already...but it was really fun, and I met tons of new people. I wasn't "out" when I was there because I still didn't feel very comfortable with it yet, and also I knew another guitarist who was also going there who studies with the same teacher as me. There were still some cute guys there who I wish I could have met, but I never did... In the end, after our guitar recital, I guess I played really well, and Sharon Isbin invited me to go to Julliard in 2007. All went well, and it's good to be back. Especially after a 17-hour drive back home.
17 hours!? - Now that is a looooong drive. Glad it wasn't me at the wheel - 12 hrs is about my limit. Good to see you back tho' :icon_bigg
You GUESS you did well? Julliard doesn't take people who are subpar... you must have been unbelievable!!! That's so cool... and you really don't have to worry about being out at Julliard (big gay population). Anyway, Mozel Tov, Congratulations, and anything else one says.
Love ya too joey :icon_wink Yeah I kept thinking to myself that I had a lot of time, and sooner or later something would happen and we would make a conversation with each other...then before I knew it, I was already on my last week there.
