So its coming around to Halloween time... and when Corina linked a video on another thread saying it gets her in the Halloween mood, i was instantly reminded of my own personal things that get me in the mood and i felt like sharing  Might as well make a thread, then everyone gets to share!Whats gets YOU in the mood for all hallows eve? For me its DEFINITELY the Halloween Town marathons on TV. They are so old, so cheezy, and so poorly written. But since they first aired ive never missed them a single year! Its like a train wreak of Halloween joy. Its even on youtube if anyone dare watch...
The other thing would be the one house on my street that buys what looks like $1000 in new giant inflatable Halloween crap every year. Its fun to see what they picked each time October rolls around.

I love death, violence, gore, satanic worshipping. All that good stuff. Usually seeing a Halloween marathon on SciFi got me in the mood but for years, I was not allowed to celebrate it until last year.

Driving two hours to the Atrox Factory, the greatest haunted house EVER. Giving out candy, then eating half of it because NOBODY trick-or-treats anymore. Watching Jack-O, the best worst movie ever (then watching it again with commentary!). Reese's peanut butter cups. Bonfires. |
