I'm not sure if anyone here will know what it means since I live in a tiny rural town but I like having it

I would prefer a black one but to each his own! Lol does anyone know why rainbow Colors represent gay pride? Just wondering.

Follow the instructions on this page but use six colours and only use two strands of each colour not three otherwise it turns out really thick.
It takes a bit of practice and quite a bit of time but it's worth it.

Its supposed to show that the LGBT community is made up of many different kinds of people (aka many different "colors") but we all come together in acceptance and love to create something beautiful (aka the "rainbow")

It takes a lot to explain.
    Just read the Wikipedia page.

It's something about diversity and all the different colours coming together to form one things but I'm not really sure.

There's also a much more intense explanation of what each colour represents.

The raindow flag was originally used by the Peace Movement, but was soon adopted by the gay rights movement.

I might try to make one of these sometime. is there a big difference between normal sewing thread and Embroidery floss? b/c if there is, that might make it harder for me to do...

EDIT: nvm, I found the Embroidery floss that I needed
