Leaving juts out side of Toronto, they have been playing these commercials for a couple of months advertising Toronto. They have someone singing and they show clips of Toronto and why it is sucha a great place to visit. I just recently saw the new one and it was showing social groups and they were advertising the Gay Pride Parade. But it was such a cool way. A group of guys were at a table and then someone came to join. There were just rainbow flags behind them so it made it non steryotypical. I just think it was really cool.

Our city marketing department has been told by the mayor to incorporate the GLBT community in ther next video. Mannheim is a gay-friendly city but you'd never know it from the old video. It's great that cities are recognizing the benefits of being gay-friendly and promoting that in their marketing and tourism strategy.
