Anyone Else Have A 1930's,40's & 50's Fetish???

The Great Depression and oppression.

Alright, just kidding. I love that time period as well, but I'm pretty picky -- I love many of the films, the clothing, the architecture, the music, and all sorts of things, but I'm so thankful I wasn't alive then!!

 

Not a fetish, certainly, but I do enjoy movies, newsreels and music from the past.

Only slightly.

The 30's had some pretty impressive movies, thats for sure.
But the style, fashion, etc. Wow. I love it! Sometimes I wish I was back in that era! (Minus the Great Depression, WWII, Korean War, etc...)

 

Err... I love that stuff and all but wouldn't exactly call it a fetish.

 

I like old movies as much as the nexy guy/gay, but I would not exactly say that i find the thought of the 30's, 40's or 50's sexually arousing...

 

Mmm... Depression.. How hot!

 

The cars from that time frame were big awesome beasts.

 

I have a strange attraction to the somewhat-distant to distant past.

 

not so much a fettish,but i do think a man can never look more sharply dressed than in a 1920's or 1930's style suit

 

I would love to have been around in the 60s cause it looked so amazing and I really like the decade but I don't have a fetish for it

 

60s and 70s do it for me. I have only one word for the first half of the 20th century - SLACKS

Have to say the fashions of the late 1940s was glamorous

 

These all look like Coco Chenel/ Christian Dior inspired.

I personally am in love with pre-historic periods. Like, 14th century. Just the way people used to speak anyways, the formality.

And the late 18th century, period of Gothicism. I am pretty much into the renaissance era too.

I actually use up to 40 candles in my apartment per night rather than fluorescent light bulbs. I just prefer things that way. If i could write with ink and quail I would too. lol!
