So, I'm a HUGE fan of V for Vendetta and of course Guy Fawkes is mentioned.... so yeah. I now celebrate Guy Fawkes Night!

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot,
I know of no reason

Should ever be forgot.

That movie had some of my favorite quotes of all time. Actually, on my quotes section on facebook... I pretty much say just watch V for Vendetta.

a bunch of my friends have the quote up on their facebook status' today. one of my friends is carrying around a guy fawkes mask, and one has a wall photo of all the guy fawkeses at the end of the movie marching, and i'm tagged in it

I'm not celebrating it tonight because my dog hates fireworks and I can't leave her alone in the house when they're scaring her so much.
Burning effigies and setting off explosions is all quite fun though.

I've been changing my status to different things from the movie all day. I'm just going to watch V for Vendetta tonight because I'm not allowed to shoot fireworks in city limits... booo!

Oh well! I'm stoked!

p.s. I bought a mask and a hat and I've been putting them on at random times. haha

This morning I had no idea that this was today, so I was extremely confused to see a guy sitting there at a table reading the paper with a Guy Fawkes' mask on. I figured it was one of the usual strange sights you see everyday on campus (like the guys dressed up in full-body spandex suits, or the gorilla costume guy). Makes more sense now

v for vandetta is a really amazing film, my friend has the comic, but i'm not a huge bonfire night kinda person, going to see fireworks tomorrow with mates if it doesn't rain, but its not a day i care a lot for, i'm more of a halloween/xmas/my birthday kinda person
