http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/11/091113-2009-leonids-meteor-shower-peak.html There's going to be a meteor shower!! I'm trying to get all myf riends together to watch it tomorrow. I'm excited. I hope the skies are clear enough.
That's tomorrow night! I'll have to break away from my homework and see if I can see anything. I really wish I lived in the country, away from all the city light pollution...
I'm driving me and a few friends above the city I live in so hopefully the clouds will clear and we can light a fire to keep warm with hot beverages. Wish us luck! And those who'll be viewing it.
"In those regions, sky-watchers are advised to venture out away from bright city lights between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on the 17th, when they should see 30 to 50 meteors an hour. " So that would be tonight actually. Too bad its cloudy here I always watch meteor showers, even went camping in Colorado in August just to view that meteor shower.
