Oh yes, I don't like Know-It alls. They make my self esteem go aksldjsa. And then it frustrates me when I know they're wrong.

I actually don't know what kao means specifically, but it's in a song I was trying to a song and I just always fumbled on it. I can say it, but when I'm singing it trips me up.

The full line is; Sonna kanashii kao wa mitakunai
    (From Nami Tamaki's "believe")

Related to know-it-alls, I hate the jackasses that insist on asking the most asinine questions possible questions in class. Ones that are either totally obvious, have been explained by the prof, or don't make any goddamn sense. There's actually an entire group on facebook dedicated to this.

Also, people who pronounce it "expresso". that one really grates on me.

Ugh, there was this kid in my ADVANCED English class last year who spelled soap s-o-u-p -_- It took him like five tries to spell the word. Everyone was laughing, including the teacher, but I was just baffled.

People writing with their left hand...hehe nah, it just looks strange to me, but it doesnt bother me that much

Wat actually really annoys me is people who think they are better than everyone else, and who refuse to try new things, just cos they arent wast everyone else is doing, like the kids at my school having a vendetta against Korean rap/pop...And i hate it when people are obsessed with their myspace...like theya re on their everymornign before school and at lunch and prob go on directly after school....im sorry, but its really not that great, but thats just my opinion (and yes i have tried it myself, im not just talking from an observing point of view)

People who fail to keep appointments and don't make contact to explain/apologise

People who throw rubbish out of car windows

Smokers who deliberately blow smoke towards non-smokers

Customers in shops who don't have their payment ready and seem surprised when asked to pay

Customers in shops who take a large trolley full of stuff to the "10 items or less" checkout

The staff on that checkout when they serve them instead of telling them to go to another one

    I'll think of more later....

Oh this might take a while:

    • People who ask stupid questions in class, especially if the question was just answered by the prof or if it's just for the stupid fucking moron to hear themselves speak.
    • People who think there are no stupid questions. (Unless they agree that there aren't because there are just stupid people.)
    • Gay guys obsessed with make-up, shoes, clothes, shopping, working out, carbs, waxing, etc.
    • People who are exceptionally quick to label others sluts while lying about their own sexual experiences.
    • People who are socially awkward, ESPECIALLY those who attempt to invite themselves along to other people's group activities and those who monopolise group discussions even though they nearly invariably have nothing interesting to say. And especially those who blithely interrupt theirs betters with inanities.
    • People who think they're smarter than me. Seriously. As if. :icon_bigg
    • People who try to be neutral between two warring parties. You just CANNOT have it both ways.
    • Members of student groups who are SURE, just CERTAIN, they know it all and are the most progressive, most leftist, most inclusive people around--when in actuality they are often the worst groupthink neo Nazi hiveminders in existence.
    • People who cannot laugh at themselves.
    • Pretty gay boys who are aloof and standoffish. Because it's just so HARD to be beautiful, I know.
    • People who don't get that true friendship means standing by your friend no matter what, even if that friend has made mistakes.
    • People who think you can (and have to be) cruel to be kind.
    • People who brush off your feelings as needy but would never accept theirs being labelled as cold.
    • People who cannot seem to understand that perhaps you've grown and matured as you've aged.
    • People who cannot let go of absolutely meaningless details regarding ownership of items while their purported friend is on their deathbed.
    • People who have been friends with someone for 4 decades who can't cut their vacation plans a little short to attend that person's memorial and who instead send a proxy stating that "Our good friend would have wanted us to continue with our trip" when you happen to know damn well their good friend, your mother, would have wanted nothing of the sort.
[there's a whole list I could put in based on my mother's death]
    • Supervisors who feel that a good time to get picky about someone's hours is when their mother is in hospital dying--and when you actually have the gall to get angry at them, blame it on miscommunication and then try to punish you for your impertinence.
    • Supervisors who talk about not wanting to micromanage you while in fact they are doing JUST that.
    • Sociopaths who have made it to middle management and like to manipulate people just for the hell of it.
    • People in positions where they should have a certain level of education and familiarity with subject matter that they have absolutely no capacity to understand.
    • People who think that everyone is equally capable of everything.
    • People who need you to be "okay" and happy because they're too weak to handle your emotions.
    • People who are wishy-washy and unmemorable.
    • Gay people who don't understand what gay pride is about.
    • Gay people who are socially conservative.
    • Gay people who think it's okay to be fiscally conservative because they're socially liberal and can't seem to understand that one form of conservatism begets the other.
    • Gay people who vote for and support people who would like nothing more than to put other gay people in jail... or to death.
    • Gay men who are misogynistic.
    • People who can't see that all forms of oppression are intimately intertwined.
    • People who won't make plans in advance.
    • People who, when you ask them to make a decision, constantly say "I dunno... you decide."
    • People who do not honour their commitments to others, especially commitments that involve being somewhere at a certain time... and then don't even have the decency to apologise.
    • People who think Star Wars is actually good.
    • The notion that all TV is evil.
    • People who don't care about grammar and spelling.
    • People who don't read novels. Ever.
    • People who are obsessed over microcelebrities who are only famous for being famous.
    • People who think they are better than others because they're either older or younger than them, not seeming to realise that the fact their older or younger than someone is absolutely RANDOM and nothing they've done anything to achieve.
    • People who lie about their age, which includes not telling people how old they are.
    • People who won't discuss specific numbers when talking about money because "that's the way they were raised."
    • People who don't think they're rich simply because there are people out there with even more money than them.
    • People who don't understand their own privilege.
    • People who fawn over pretty people and allow them leeway they would NEVER allow someone who was plainer.
    • People who think Science is better than the Arts and Humanities.
    • People who believe that Science, a system created and designed by humans, is flawless and can ultimately explain everything.
    • People who look down their noses at people who do recreational drugs and then go out and get shitfaced. Alcohol == drug, people.
    • People who care excessively about what other people think about them. Especially people who drop you as a friend or don't want to be seen with you in certain circumstances because it might affect their precious reputation.
    • Gay people who are out to other gay people but closeted to the straight world.
    • Gay people who haven't figured out the internalised homophobia they're mired in.
    • People who demean feminists.
    • The fact that "liberal" has been turned into a dirty word. Ditto "socialist."
    • People who think modern democracy and capitalism are the be-all and end-all of human society.
    • Americans who are incapable of thinking critically about their country. Actually, any nationals who are incapable of thinking critically about their country.
    • The privatisation of the Commons.
    • Companies who sell bottled tap water.
    • Companies (espeically large corporations) who march in a Pride parade as a marketing ploy.
    • People who think gay marriage is the most important issue facing modern queer people.
    • Globalisation
    • The notion that nuclear power is "clean" and "green."
    • The blank looks I sometimes get if I start talking about Canadian politics, let alone US politics.
    • Apathy
    • Hypocrisy
    • Lookism
    • Heterosexism
    • People who think quantity trumps quality.

I should stop. But I could go on. Honest.
