Default Best City for Livin' ...in

I recently moved out of Vancouver, which I love, to be closer to my family for a while, after my father was diagnosed with Cancer (turns out it's looking very treatable. yay.)...as I may have mentioned. I miss Vancouver more than I thought I would, but I'd like to try someplace new, next. Now, I'm starting to look forward, and wondering where to move next, once things settle down. It probably wont be until mid-end summer, but I'd love suggestions.

International cities are most definitely appropriate. Anywhere in the world. I've got a fairly internationally useful career.

Soooo...as a bitchen young single lesbian lady (who is not really into the club scene), where should I next make my home??

mhm!

I'm stuck between where I currently live, Vancouver and Toronto. All three places are nice and have their own attractions.

I'd ditto that sentiment.
But knowing what your job is could really help us give advice. Some jobs here don't require French, but if you plan on interacting with people on a semi-regular basis, then French is a must.

Also, Mirko, don't move to Toronto. An absolutely horrible city.

Move back to Vancouver.

No matter where else you go, you will always miss it once you have lived there.

Well, first off, as a Canadian that has lived the majority of her life outside of Ontario, I'm required by law to dislike Toronto and its inhabitants. Have you ever been there before? It's so incredibly depressing. There's countless deaths from smog during the summer months, gang violence is stupidly high and on the whole, it's an ugly city.

Also, a song:

The world is filled with awesome cities, and they all have something to offer that others might not have. I say just throw darts at a map and move to the nearest large city. If you wind up landing on Timbuktu, you can either have an adventure or a do-over.
