It's a bit early... but why not think about resolutions while we're at it?

What things you'll try to aim for in the New Year or this holiday season?

Well last year my sole resolution was to not start smoking and...what did I do but start smoking... My mind works againts me..reverse psychology is the only way methinks!

    My new years resolutions are

-To gain as much weight as possible
-To never study or work at school
-& Generally bum around eating doritos & cadburys chocolate, not socialising and not looking for a job!

    Warning: Pessimism/cynicism ahead.

My resolution is to realize that I will never be able to keep a resolution I make at new years and try to make any necessary goals on a later date.

Lose as close to a hundred pounds as I can. I don't know if that can be done in a year, but I'm gonna try. n_n

  7. I want to be completely out by the first of the new year. This was easily the worst year of my life, so I'd definitely like a fresh start.

I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions. I just don't think we need an occasion to turn things around.

For the sake of conversation: I’d like to have some sort of income in the New Year, and begin my coming out process. I’d also like to find some comedy clubs around here (or be able to drive to them) and start getting my feet wet with performing.

    - Cut down on caffeine
    - Lose another 10lbs

    - Build to running 50 miles a week and run another marathon

Getting a job and coming out would be mine this year.

    Get better at bassoon.
Subgoals are to be able to play in tune at least most of the time, improve my endurance so I don't die at the ends of long phrases with my tone going out the window at a rate if knots and to have learnt ALL my technical work to AT LEAST crotchet = 112, mainly to improve finger regularity.
I have a big year ahead! The end products will hopefully be me getting into Melbourne University or VCA if it is somehow reinstated and me getting into the orchestra I want to be in. Still not happy about that! :frowning2:

    I've a few

-The veggie transition has already started (I fail at waiting for specific dates to start change)

-I want to bring more optimism and positive energy into my life...so, working on that for myself, as well as being more picky about the sort of people I surround myself with

    - Get my career back on track. Get a bloody position in my field. Rawr.

    - Move. I'm leaning towards the UK, Septemberish. I think. Final decision pending

    - Finish getting my shtuff together and take care of myself

    - Learn to play at least one damn song on my guitar

    I think that'll do me.

Hey, I said UK...I'm actually infatuated with Edinburgh. It just depends on jobs in my field and shtuff. Most recruiters are recruiting for London. Most...not all though. I've got a while to make plans:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I want my first kiss so lets say thats my new years resolution, though theres a 99.999999999% chance it wont happen, its a good thought. It'd be even better if I could get it at 12:00 AM January 1st

My new years resolution is to meet a gay/bi guy within the next year that likes me. Fairly impossible you say? Well I'm not going to turn 19 the year after this coming one without being able to say that's happened to me in my life. Of course I said the same thing about turning 18. Less then a month and it is not going to happen :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

I resolved at age 11 to never make another resolution and so far I've stuck to it.

I want to finally get out to the GLBT community center that I've been looking at in Philly. That will be my first step to coming out. ^_^
