Default Homoments, Homo-moments?

I'm sure we've all had them... or many of us on EC anyway.

What were some gay moments, when looking back you go, "Wow, I was so gay then"? Growing up as a kid, middleschool/highschool or as an adult.

---

Some of mine:

-During class in grade 1 I had a British Exchange Teacher and I would simply stare at her -and her "prettyness" whenever she talked.
-I met a girl in grade 4 and remember loving hanging around her a lot. We became best friends fast. And she moved at the end of the year and I felt like a hole had burned itself in my chest. I think she was a major crush for me then..
-During grade 7 there was a "big fuss" about everyone bringing a date to the 'grad dance' before leaving elementary school to go to highschool. All my female friends were talking about who they hoped would ask them. One of my best friends told me she was asked by a cute guy in our grade. She said I should try for another guy who was "totally hot" and I remember running laps while discussing this with her. I remember scrunching up my face in a scowl and going, "really? You think all the guys are hot?"
-Highschool crushes-on teachers (one of them the mom of a guy I dated)
-In highschool I would always look at the ladies and young women in the mall when clothes shopping, not their boyfriends or guy friends like my mom thought I was. I knew she thought I was because she'd ask "Oh yea, he was cute wasn't he?" And I'd be like, "What? Who?"

I'm sure I've had plenty, but the only one that sticks out like a sore thumb is that my parents caught me on videotape when I was like 11 or 12 saying something rather gay. My mom was drawing a picture of a guy on a beach using MS Paint and I blurted out "ooh ooh, give him tight shorts!"

Whenever I was like 3, I used to tell women how pretty their shoes were.
Also, my dad used to ask me if I would rather kiss Justin Timberlake or Britney Spears... I guess it was a test. Bummer, I failed that one in the long run.

The one that sticks out the most was how at one point I wanted to play house with my older brother. I recall clearly demanding to be the wife.

I used to pretend with a girlfriend of mine that I was Sailor Star Fighter and she was Sailor Moon. All we had to go on was a few episodes of the television show and a series of playing cards. Often times it involved overly dramatic scenes where we confessed our love for each other and then promptly killed a bunch of evil doers.
And I used to always tell her she reminded me of Ginger Spice (who happened to be my favourite Spice Girl).
Yep. Really, really gay.

My favorite gay moment is on a home video. I was three years old, and it was Christmas. Santa had given me a collection of Batman toys.

I asked my sister to play with me, and she immediately said, "Ok... I GET TO PLAY CATWOMAN!"

My face dropped.

"Whaaaat?" I said in a disbelieving, squeeky voice.

My mom interceded. "Aww, he just got that... let him play Catwoman."

i had a crush on the pitcher of my baseball team when i was 7.
in computer class in 6th grade i was sitting next to my friend and playing with his hair flirting and the teacher caught me. looking back i was definitely flirting.
freshman year i had a stare down with a guy while we were having some argument and he was seriously annoyed...except he happened to also be my crush and has some of the most beautiful eyes. i got distracted and kept staring until he asked what i was staring at and i had to say something mean to cover it.

Well if it makes you feel any better...I reenacted scenes from Sailor Moon too and I'm a guy lol, pretty sure that makes me way gayer lol.

But other then that I remember as a little kid wearing a wig and chasing my brothers around trying to kiss them, that was pretty gay. Looking at gay porn in like 6th grade and then forgetting to delete the history and my brother called me out on it and I denied it; then when I came out he was shocked and I recalled this memory and he was like oh I thought it was dahdahdah (my other brother) that was pretty funny. But yea I don't know a lot of gay things I did in reflection of my life :P

When I was like 4 or 5, my mom dragged me through this store that had an adult section with naughty calendars and greeting cards and stuff like that. I remember having to be forcefully pulled away when I found this postcard of some buff naked guy.

One time in eighth grade, I was at the library with my friend and we were flipping through this book on STDs written for middle schoolers for shits and giggles. We got to the section on genital herpes and we kept staring at this picture of some portion of skin covered in bumps. It took us like 3 minutes to realize that it was actually the shaft of a penis. Then we threw down the book in disgust and stopped reading there. A little later though I told her I wanted to check out the book again just to "finish reading." Yeahhh I think this girl probably knew I was gay before I did.

This is what Seiya looked like as a civilian:

And this is what they look like when they transform:

Also, Usagi and Seiya totally had a thing going. So I stand by my gayness even if it was socially acceptable for girls to like Sailor Moon.

Oh god my childhood was so gay. I don't get how nobody in my fam knows. Well now I'm more staight acting so I guess they discarded it all. A few: playing dress up with my niece, asking for a easy bake oven, staring at a gift bag my mom had gotten with shirtless guys on it, drawing penises all the time, hanging out with girls more then guys, circling pics of guys I liked in my year books(then having to hide them or throw them away in fear of bein outed). That's just off the top of my head.

Haha I can dig that - I was a "Tuxedo Mask" fan personally and would pretend to be sailor moon and fall in love with him LOL wow thats defiantly the gayest moment I've had since I've been out for a whole month now ...see if I told all my friends that I did that at a young age they'd defiantly know for a fact I'm gay.

----------

By the way Seiya in her civilian outfit does look a little bit lesbianish

There was this one time, my whole family (all 6 of us!!) were at this restaurant right on the seaside, and there was the single cutest guy I've seen in ages (about 20 minutes... It's the beach!!) and I couldn't help staring at him, only thing is my dad noticed I was staring at something... he guessed it was the salted sardines my mum had got. I got REAL lucky, cus we were in France at the time if my parents had worked out that I'm gay they probably would have left me there. I'm not exaggerating BTW

I liked watching wrestling and football as a kid, but not for the sport, lol, but at the time I didn't know why. I remember back in middle school in home ec class the other boys were ogling the female underwear models in the magazines... I clearly remember saying "eww" to the most scantily clad looking picture, LOL.

When I was really young I would kiss my best bud all the time. My mom likes to tell the story of when my friend came up to her one day and asked when he was going to go home because I kept on kissing him. Omg, I can't believe that didn't bring up questions.
I have an older sister by two years, and I remember I would always make her mad because I'd play with her Barbies. Lol, another thing I did with my sister was whenever she had a friend over, I'd manage to be 'caught' by them and used as a dress up doll. I loved being dressed and prettied up, lol. I have to say one of the best ones though is when my sister got a lifesize barbie for christmas one year, and i would let her dress me up in its costume several times. Heha, I'm hope I got all the drag out of my system

I used to put the clothes from my brother's Action Men on my Barbie dolls... I also thought that getting 20 model cars and a toy garage for my 5th birthday was one of the best presents ever.

I was also a secretly huge Spice Girls fan when I was about 13, and fancied the hole off Mel B... but denied it to anyone who asked.

When I was about 4, I told my sister I wanted to marry Britney Spears. :|

Also, when I was 12, I found a PlayGirl in my sisters room, I skipped over the pictures of the guys, and read a story about two girls that was in there.

I think the first thing I remember was me sitting and just staring at my Enya albums, thinking how pretty she was. The album I had had a picture of her when she was 25 on it and I'd sit there for twenty minutes, mesmerized. I don't think I knew why! I'm guessing I was in sixth grade or so.

I distinctly recall watching Bladerunner and rewinding all the scenes Pris was in a few times. (In retrospect, she was way freaky, yet I dug her? I was a strange child.)

I also saw Girl, Interrupted in my cousin's room when I was 14 or so, and I could not keep my eyes off of Winona Ryder. <3 I was seriously so... infatuated, I guess is the word, that I went home and drew a bunch of characters that looked like her (or tried to, anyway - I wasn't very good at drawing back then, haha). Angelina Jolie's performance was supposedly more memorable, but I'd honestly forgotten she was in the movie because damn, Winona Ryder. =P

I'm not sure this next thing so much points to me being obviously gay when I was wee, as it does just being not girly at all. Whenever I had Barbie dolls, they would always be the villains and my little zoo animal and dinosaur figurines would end up defeating them. Or eating them. >.> I was not a girly child AT ALL. I have, if anything, gotten girlier as I've gotten older, and I'm still not very girly.

Ooo and when I was young enough to play make believe with no pants on in the living room, I was always either Balto, Simba, or Robin Hood. =P I was probably, like, six or seven or something.

While I don't consider myself a Kinsey 6 or anything, it miiiight have been a bit of a tip that something was off... that all of my boy crushes growing up were on effeminate men and transvestites. Seriously, I had a crush on a young Boy George (like, from the 80s, not so much now >.>). Also, Brian Molko, with his long hair, eyeliner, and black nail polish. I'd just think to myself, "They're so pretty! <3 <3"

And, yeah, whenever my friends would go on and on about how cute X boy band was, I'd just kind of sit back and feel like, "This conversation doesn't apply to me." AND IT STILL TOOK ME UNTIL COLLEGE TO FIGURE MYSELF OUT. I'm oblivious!
