Default Spring Semester Classes - What did you schedule?

So, people who are attending Fall semester classes should have already scheduled their Spring semester classes. What are yours?

Mine:
PSY 102 (3.00) - Psych Applications
PSY 262 (3.00) - Abnormal Psychology
CH 110 (4.00)- College Chemistry (fulfills a pre-med requirement)
CH 110 (0.00)- College Chemistry Lab
M 140 (4.00)- Precalculus with Trig
RPW 110 (3.00)- Rhetoric & Writing I

Total Credits: 17.00

I signed up for French, but was forced to drop it so I could take Abnormal Psych . I'll def be taking a language next Fall semester (<3 languages).

Default Re: Spring Semester Classes - What did you schedule?

CHEM 2260 (4.00) - Organic Chemistry II
CHME 2020 (4.00) - Energy, Entropy and Equilibrium
ECON 4260 (4.00) - Environmental and Natural Resource Economics
STSH 2130 (4.00) - Introduction to the Philosophy of Science

Total : 16 credits I'm so excited that I'll actually have time this next semester to do stuff!
Oh, I'll also be spending four hours a week being a TA for Introduction to Engineering Analysis, a statics class at my school. (so appx ~ 18 credits?)

Ugh, Swamp if feel you with the languages. I was hoping to be taking classes in German or Spanish this year, but what do you know. My college decided to get rid of our entire language department at the end of last year. Just great. Ugh, stupid stupid stupid.

At the moment it's looking like

Bioinformatics
Multimedia Security and Data Hiding
Parallel Algorithms: Design and Analysis
Simulation Modelling and Analysis
Financial Mathematics
Categorical Data Analysis

but I'm still trying to sort things out because our module selection process is horribly messy. At least I can pretty much force things through with course selection because I'm a masters student...

COMM 243 - Argument and Debate (The last communications I need...thank goodness.)
ECON 312 - Poverty and Inequality
ECON 452 -International Trade Policy
ECON 465 - Contemporary Issues in Economics
HIST 401 - Slavery in World History

In case you couldn't tell, I am an Economics major (History minor). I am really excited about my Poverty and Inequality class. All of the reviews I have seen about it said that it was alot of work, but very enlightening. Econ 465, I don't know what to expect, but the professor had great reviews. As for Economics 452 is supposed to be boring, but easy, which is why I took it. Finally, my History class I took because I had that professor this semester for a Modern Middle East history class and he was absolutely amazing. I am hoping to get to know him a little better this Spring.

Plus, with this schedule, I only have one Friday class at 8am. Yay !

The HIST 401 sounds interesting. Would love to hear more about the course, if you get the chance.

As part of my undergrad studies I had to take quite a few ECON classes. Every time I saw econ equations on the board my head started spinning.

Well, I have a quarter system at my school, so it's Winter Quarter classes for me when school starts again. After that, it would be Spring Quarter. But oh well.

BIS 104 - Cell Function Regulation
ENL 003 - Intro To Lit
MCB 120L - Biochemistry Laboratory

I'm only taking those three classes, which totals to about 13 credits. It seems like a potentially small workload, but the biochemistry lab class has 10 hours of lab each week along with 3 hours of lecture. And I'll also be interning (volunteering depending on which side you're asking) at the school hospital for about 4 hours a week. So I have a lot to do next quarter... yay

You're just like my boyfriend...insisting upon showing off your three day weekend.
Of course, the classes that you're taking don't sound incredibly pleasant, so I'm sure you deserve it .

@Mirko...Yeah, I am really excited about the History class. The professor is so intelligent and he really has challenged my ideas about alot of things. And besides my Microecon class (omg that was a b*tch) there haven't been too many formulas. I am kind of dreading Econometrics though...calculus involved apparently...god help me.

Here is mine and I'm wicked pumped for it!
No classes on Thursdays either

-French 102
-Masterpieces of French Literaure
-Behavioural Statistics
-Social Ethics (god a killer; it's 3 hours long)
-Some special Seminar for Archer students that has something to do with bio and science-fiction. I only took it cause the course description said "we'll look into love triangles and Internet porn"
Total: 17 credits.

AEAH 4818 - Topics in Latin American Art
ASTU 3210 - Intermediate Painting
PSYC 4980 - It's listed as "experiment course", but I saw it on some flyer in the Union that said it was something to do with LGBT issues? I don't know, it looked interesting.
ASTU 3320 - Screen Printing
EDSE 4060 - Reading in Secondary Schools

Aaand I totally only go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. >=D The PSYC class is from 6:30 to 9:20 PM though, so if it's lame, I'm so going to drop it. Arharhar!

I was so stoked to get Screen Printing. That one always seems to be full, even if you're up at 7:30 AM to register with the seniors, but some spots opened up later in registration and I got one! SO EXCITE.

Default Re: Spring Semester Classes - What did you schedule?

Ooh. My schedule is going to be a huge kick in the pants. While I only have four classes, each of them has a three to four hour laboratory on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I only have one class on Fridays, so I suppose in that way I can be saved from the killer amounts of work.

BIOL 305 - Animal Diversity: The characteristics of the major groups of animals, their ancestry, history and their relationship to one another. The processes of speciation, adaptive radiation and extinction responsible for diversity. Methods for constructing phylogenies, for comparing phenotypes, and for estimating and analyzing diversity. 3 credits (2-3-4)
BIOL 463 - Mammalian Evolution: This course will provide the students with detailed knowledge of the origin, evolutionary history, diversity and adaptation of mammal species to their environment. Beside a systematic review of fossil and living orders of mammals, aspects of mammalian paleoecology, functional morphology and adaptation will also be explored. The course will use the extensive collections and exhibits of the Redpath Museum as a resource for weekly laboratories. 3 credits (2-3-4)
EPSC 203 - Structural Geology: Primary igneous and sedimentary structures, attitudes of planes and lines, stress and strain, fracturing of rocks, faulting, homogeneous strain, description and classification of folds, foliation and lineation, orthographic and stereographic projections. (3 credits. 2 hours lectures, 3 hours laboratory)
EPSC 212 - Introductory Petrology: Survey course of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and the processes leading to their formation. Emphasis in the laboratory on hand-specimen description and classification, supplemented by thin sections.(3 credits. 3 hours lectures, 3 hours laboratory. Prerequisite: EPSC 210)

I thought about taking some classes this spring, but the classes I want are only offered from 8am to 5pm on Fridays. Don't think I can swing not be at the office on Fridays for 6 months.

I'm double majoring in Psychology and Philosophy and I'm a junior..but sadly I'm using this semester to catch up on general ed requirements

English 102
Fiction
Biological Principles & Lab
Intro to German
Virtues, Acts, and Consequences

Pretty boring classes except for the philosophy class, I tried to take Latin last semester but dropped it - that is a bitch of a language to learn >:O . And sadly I still have to take English 102, but after this semester I will be done with my English classes. So oh well
