What are your parents like?

I only live with my mum but shes very loving (can get angry at times...) always asks for money and stuff but yeah. =P She always tries to come into my room... So I block the door XD then when I let her in the first thing she always says is "You're on a porn site aren't you?" then theres me with a huge red face and smile saying no. Then she says "I was a child once too you know" Its kinda embrassing but funny.

What are your parents like?

it's good, my parents are down to earth

when they find out i'm gay, i know that they won't care

and my parents are like that too, with the hole "i was a kid once too, you don't think i know?" attitude... and it's good cause it's more realistic

My mum will be cool with me when I come out to her (If I ever do) she (like most parents) already know and she has asked/hinted at it too many times. >_>

yeah, i think parents always know, if even only suspecting it - otherwise they are just ignoring it.

my parents have done the hole hinting thing a few times

hehe... that's what my mum has done. That and her commenting on me reading The Front Runner (if you haven't read it, you must, it's an awesome book) makes me suspect she knows... But the boy I am in the beginnings of a relationship with has forbidden me from telling her as he's afraid she'll tell his mum. Oh yeah, and my dad would tell me I'm being stupid cos it's just a phase...

OK - so I'm not a parent - but I'm (at least) in that age bracket - and the funny thing is...we all did what people in their teens are doing...like, well, umpteen years ago.

Hey - it isn't new...my grandparents probably went through the same thing too...only difference is that they were straight - but every generation "breaks the rules" of the generation before (or - maybe it's just that, when people become parents - they seem to think that their kids shouldn't have to make all the same mistakes that they did themselves).

OK - Gay/Bi/Straight - things vary a bit - but if parents would actually admit - and kids would actually wake up - it's all been done before...LOL

I like my mum, but i dont like my dad....yes i know you are all gunna say that you cant shoose your family, and bloods thicker than water, and that family will always love you etce....but he gets on my nerves, and we dont think the same way at all....and get this, he scheduled my mums 5oth birthday party so that my sister would be forced to not go to a guys party that he didnt like...as a consequence not of my sisters friends (including the guy my dad doesnt like) cant come to my mums party and theyre all really good friends with my mum....and im not exegerating, thats exactly how it happened

And my parents alredy know about me, i just havent told them yet...Its kinda not hard when you sing (ina very loud voice) Whitney Houston, and songs from Moulinn Rouge and that my best friends ahve always been girls...oh well they dont care

I live with both my parents and they can sometimes be very annoying, they don't know anything about technology and it hurts me to see them not know a damn thing about it. Which is why they need me here living with them because they wouldn't know how to work a cell phone if their life depended on it.

My parents are certainly not the best parents you can get. Basically, my dad is very tradition style person....well, let's just say his mind is stucked in 50's and very homophobic. My mom is ok, but she is not loving parent or cool parent neither. I and my dad don't get along well because I was an accident(unwanted kids if you know what I mean) and I just can't stand him. My mom is ok and she can be sweet sometimes but usually she is just pain in the ass.

But I'm ok. They don't beat me up, they feed me, they provides everything I need. So I'm fine with that.

My parents are very cool, my Mom is my Boss so I see her all day everyday so we're pretty close, my Dad and I get along very well but does know how to get on my nerves !!
I was an accident too, which kinda ruined my parents plans (the weren't supposed to stay together) but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give your child unconditional love.

Ermm.. my parents are vvverrrrrrrry different, well 1st my dad neva really spent time wiv us, and hes dead boriiing, and my mum.. well shes was bit crazy in the past, now shes quite normal, bit 2 faces tho.. we're not close but we dont hate each other, but i dont really respect them tho, since they neva like encouraged me or anythin wen i was younger.. all they they did was shout n call us dum

My parents are ok. They are pretty down to earth people. They are usually fair. Me dad has a bit of a temper which causes him to yell. As a reasult I am not close that close with him. I am close to my mom though. She is great. When I came out to them last night they took it well. My dad thinks I am to young to know though. So they are pretty good people. But its all akward since I came out lol

My dad is the best dad ever , he cared bout me, he calls me at least 2 tiem a day from his workplace, and he always cook good foods yum

He's a generous man, but he's super quiet and he never talked about any of my problem tho, it's hard to know what is on his mind, not sure if he is against gay, but he never talks bout it

My mom called me every saturday, but she said she'll never return to thsi family, i wanna find my dad a new woman, tho i hate step mom

I have a rather...icy relationship with my parents. Both of them are constantly working, which means that I have to take care of the house while they're gone. It's quite difficult to manage with school and extracirricular activities.

The 2 or 3 days a week she doesn't work, my mother is a Bible-beating bitch to me. And whenever I see my father? Don't even get me started. That's when the proverbial st really hits the fan.
