My cat got smacked on the head by my mom, now my cat can't open of her eyes. She seems fine otherwise but it bothers me that she is having trouble opening her right eye. What should I do? I know you might say, "Take her to the vet." but the thing is that we can't afford the vet. In fact, me and my mom(using our combined wages) are a month behind on all our bills and the rent so obviously taking her to the vet would be too expensive.
I think your kitty has a concussion... I'd keep an eye on her for awhile. Can't think of any remodies. I don't think the vet would help much anyway.
dont u have something like the pdsa? in the uk they take animals in that are ill or things like that and is more for the families that cant afford vet bills.
I know a free solution: tell your mom not to hit animals. Way uncool. Unless it was an accident. If it was an accident, just have a dance party since your cat is better.

I guess I should have mentioned that she hit the cat because it bit her. Of course I don't hit my cat, I tell her no then she licks me and walks away.
