This is a good one too =) More of a danceable song than Sweet Child xD

(Omg, I just thought of having Welcome to the Jungle as a wedding song xD How ironic that'd be xD) (THE PUNS ARE ABUNDANT FOR THAT SONG AND USING IT IN A WEDDING XD)

I don't know if a more jazzy thing is what she's after, but Melody Gardot has quite a few lovely, lovey tunes. =)

I also love Glitter in the Air by Pink, but I'm sure that's not at all influenced by how big of a fan of hers I am, haha. It makes me all emotional though. It's a gorgeous song, imo. <3

I hope you don't find this too dorky that I'm suggesting a song from a videogame, but it is a very romantic song.

not going too far back into the archives...
...most appropriate seems to be Love Shine A Light (UK 1997)

or from a gay icon Willeke Alberti's "Waar is de zon" (Netherlands 1994) I have the MP3 for the English, instrumental and original Dutch versions of Waar is de zon pm me if you so decide to suggest it to your friend (or for your own collection).

I've DJed weddings where these two songs were used. They're both quite old (both older than ME!), but let's just say they both worked really really well.

^ Ya know, I was gonna post At Last, but I didn't due to the OP's original suggestion, suggesting they wanted something a bit not as "classic"? if you know what I mean? But that's a damn good choice anyway.

Long-forgotten fact - Bryan Adams wrote that song for a movie about a male stripper.
