What sucks about your town/city?

wow, my town and it's surroundings is described by almost everything you just said. Plus, I don't live close enough to any of my close friends to really have a good time.

 

The worst part about my town is that it has a really high geriatric population in proportion to youth/middle agers. That normally wouldn't be bad, but considering my town is about 30% Mormon, a gay guy's worst fear comes true: a city government run by an old, conservative Mormon mayor.

 

small town, everyone knows everyone...but it's not even as small as you think :/

 

No fun.
No good view.
No selence.
No open minded people.
No mall.
No good big park.
No theater.
No golf course.
No starbucks.

Well, if you drive about 20 mins or so there are but it's not comvenient.

 

It's in middle Georgia, so it's always hot. And there are too many evangelicans who hate gay people.

Too many conservative people with narrow minds
Not a whole lot to do around me
No movie theater (close one is not too far away though, but in another town)
I have a 15 min walk to my car (I'm at college and have assigned parking)

 

there is a population of like 50... not really but its really small
small school
everyone wears the same thing even if they are prep, goth or anything else so i have to go places kinda far they wont

thats about it... where i live is not great but its ok...

 

I think what bothers me about my hometown the most is the slow, boring pace. The people are decent, but the lack of event and infrastructure drives me insane.

 

It's incredibly small. The population is roughly 11,000.
It's irritatingly boring. Wal-Mart and this other grocery store are the 'hang out spots' for people my age.
It's filled with close-minded, judgmental people. There's virtually no gay community here whatsoever, and the majority of the people I know are extremely homophobic.

Those are the main points that cause me to hate this town every single day.

 

It's cold.
It's the heroin capital of England.
It's the car-crime capital of England.
The gay scene sucks. Three places, and they're all rubbish - except for the free condoms

 

• Its too hot
• Too many little kids...
• The people my age still play out side and I don't like to go outside so I don't know many people :tears:

Thats about it... That I can think of at the moment.

 

August sucks. Why the HELL would you build a city on top of a swamp??
Tim Gunn calls it a "fashion wasteland," and he's right. Despite the many great stores, NO ONE dresses well (except the gays and European ambassadors, of course).
It's always portrayed as being just memorials, the Capital, and the White House. People do live here!
The roads are awful, and the cops are even worse.

Oh...and there was one more...what was it? Oh right, George Bush lives here. I think that trumps all.

too hot and humid
too many stupid rules in school, city
too many strict tests to get a driver licence
Kids at age 16 cant enter a club, cant drink socially
Not enough rock stations for me
Too much trafic jam
too many crazy, closed_minded people that make my life living hell
too many mean kids
too sucked cuz too manything are sucked

 

-Lots of tourists during summer
-I wish we had something like a Target here...XD
-Like everyone is a "Gangsta" and that really kind of annoys me...
Uhh, all I ca think of at the moment...

 

Well, it's not just my town, but every town with people attending my school. Which is about ten to fifteen.
No gay people.
Too much drugs.
Nothing to do. (Nearest theater is half an hour away, nearest mall is an hour, by car)
All the trees are being torn down to make room for new houses.
Everyone thinks they're better than everyone else.
All the people my age want to spend their spare time being drunk and high.
No jobs.

 

we dont have no nude beach like Miami*tears* :lol:

 

Haha, we have like 4 beaches in this town. But I wouldn't advise being naked at any of them...
