Just recieved my Irish passport and now I'm binational :3 UK/Ireland. Could go tri if I claimed Guyanese citizenship, but it's not really something I need...

What about the rest of you?

I'm Canadian by birth, Australian via my dad, and I've applied for British (i.e., EU--woo!) via my mum. So I'm technically bi now but I'll be tri later (hopefully).

Born american, can't hold dual citizenship (or rather it won't be recognized in the US so even if I did, I'd have to get a visa to go back and forth)

I am Canadian by birth and para jus sanguinis via my dad ...

then I don't know if the link to France is strong enough as I only have one French parent and I was born outside of French territory ... ... French citizenship laws are weird like that.

Uhm... I have a friend who is dual US/Canadian. Actually, I have two friends who are this. I'm pretty sure you can have dual citizenship if you're American.

You can.

According to my mom, Me and my sisters all have dual German/US citizenship, even though we don't claim German citizenship, due to being born to a full German. I don't know how true it is, but my mom says it, as does my grandma, supposedly. (Grandma is full german, doesnt speak english XD)

British and German here

I've got dual nationality, but only a British passport at the moment, I think I'll get a German one when my old one expires this year, just for a change.

Don't get the German one till you're older :3 My friend, also your age, got rid of his German citizenship in favour of British 'cause they were going to try and get him to do that military shiz. Doesn't sound fun...

Also, US citizens can be bi/tri national; My friend has German, Dutch and US citizenship, so it's entirely possible.

Is it weird that I don't remember making this thread?

British/Jamaican

British by birth, Jamaican by parentage. I had a UK passport but when I became 18, it expired and since I have been living in jamaica, it was only easier and appropriate for me to get a Jamaican passport, since I need it ASAP to get my shanghai visa.

Even though its stated on my passport...the sad thing about it is that I will now have to get a Canadian visa, where as before I never needed one. Also, a US visa is I plan to go behind my parent's wishes in the future.
