I used to belong to another forum like this and I always found it pretty incredible how many people of different origins and languages came together on one site. Which languages do you speak? I am fluent in French and Spanish and I'm entering my third year of study in Chinese.

I speak only english, which is sad. :frowning2: I'm taking spanish, which I know a little bit, but I could not even keep a small conversation with a person up. And I want to learn Japanese too but I'm always finding myself too lazy :frowning2:

  11. I speak English and a moderate amount of French.

As soon as I'm fluent in the latter, I hope to learn Spanish, German, and perhaps Italian. Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, or Hindi all seem like they would be useful, but I think they'd be far too difficult for me to learn.

I'm fluent in Japanes and of course English.

But if you are asking if I can "speak" then I can say hello in French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Portuguese.

I'm thinking to learn Portuguese and Chinese in the future. But I also want to learn German as well.

I can speak English, Vietnamese, and basic French.

I also know a handful of words of Spanish and Chinese. After I become more fluent in French, I'm going to learn more Spanish and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese, but only 'cause I'm in love with Hong Kong).

English, and I'm fairly good at Spanish. Being in Nicaragua for 4 weeks really pushed me to become more fluent in Spanish.

English and French! I love French... I was in French Immersion. I wish I'd had the oppportunity to learn a non-romance language like Mandarin, Cantonese (something tonal) or Russian or something when I was really young because learning languages when you're a kid is a breeze.
