I keep seeing "and the lesbians" written on signatures. Can I just be dumb for a minute and ask what on Earth it means?!

Hehee. It's an inside joke made on the forum in September some time. One of the magazines (Elle or something), was writing about Vanessa Hudgens. She'd come out of a building and was signing autographs for fans. One of the fans asked for a picture from her. And she said ok. Well the female fan went up to her and kissed her. Vanessa (who apparently is straight) was a bit weirded out by this. And so the article mentioned all of her fans "...and the lesbians" who follow her. At first many members (myself included) took offense to this that they should single out a single female fan and say that she represents all sapphic ladies. I think that was a bit immature of them, but then again... I've never had any 'crazed fans' lol.

So finally many members on the forum decided to make it into an inside joke instead of a negative connotation. And some of us now have "and the lesbians" in our signatures.

Edit: Nevermind, it was Allure magazine.
