This is a poem I wrote describing my struggles with finding my correct orientation..

"Yearning"

It's the feeling that keeps you up at night
Like an insomniac waiting for the light.
You fall asleep feeling as if you'll
Never know the truth.

It's the knowledge that you want to know the most.
To drink it in.
Fill every part of your being
Just for the relief the answer brings.

The thought consumes you.
You search with blind eyes
Trying to pull the veil aside.
Grasping. Tearing.
Edges slippery with impatience.

It's like a battle raging inside of you.
Which side will win?
Left side? Right?
Or will it be a tie?

The answer alone does not frighten you.
You welcome it.
You yearn for it.
You need it.

The moment you think you know,
Your mind goes blank.
But your eyes never close.
Never rest.

You're waiting for the moment to come.
The answer to your plea.
The feeling of intense relief
Releasing the weight
Off your lips.

And letting you smile.
