Hello fellow ECers, and hopefully fellow Wrimos. In 59 minutes (my time), it will officially be April 1st—meaning Script Frenzy shall commence! I checked the search tool and found an old Script Frenzy thread, but a little birdy told me to just make a new thread. So I am. I'm wondering if anybody is doing Script Frenzy this year besides me? I'd love to hear from any of you that want to throw around ideas. BUT WAIT. WHAT IS SCRIPT FRENZY? Well let. me. just. tell. you. Here's a nice little acronym for you. ACTOR. 1. Awesome — Script Frenzy is AWESOME. 2. Challenge — Write a 100 page stage/screen/comic book/etc. script. 3. Timed — Do it in the 30 days of April. 4. Original — No one else is gonna write your script, are they? 5. Raunchy(?) — and FREE, like a chicken sandwich and some waffle fries! It's sponsored by a not-for-profit organization aimed at getting people to write—recognize its cousin NaNoWriMo?
