    - It was the strangest coincidence.
    - I don't believe in coincidence... these days I believe in miracles.
    (from the movie Latter Days)

Last weekend I watched the movie 'Latter Days', which is not exactly a
memorable movie (...besides a hot scene and a a few script lines by the
    end of the movie).
And even though it wasn't intended to make a click in my head, the dialogue
    above kind of hit me.
I think I might be turning agnostic! (before I rather defined myself as
    atheist)
Too many coincidences have occurred in my life over the last year (this
ideas have been around my head for weeks, and know that my birthday is over I've decided to try to put these ideas together). I can't help thinking how strange this is. For instance:
-Finding my shrink (it is not that easy to find a good one, believe me)
-Being invited to a gay friend's birthday, where his male gay friends
brought their boyfriends... and despite it wasn't something completely new,
this time they were real and close people... not people on TV, or strangers passing by.
-Creating my wonderful nickname: popboy (which happens to sound, according to a friend, very gay LOL)
-Becoming a member of EC and then...
-Getting to know and eventually meeting Goratrix (yes, he's real and has a
human name also!). His friendship has had a strange effect on me. A good effect. Hard to explain, even to myself!
    -Coming out to non-gay friends.
-Going through and over what my natal chart defined as the 'major crisis in
my entire life', a 'milestone' between two stages in my life (believe it or
not, it was entirely right). The ultimate coming to terms, so to speak.
-A horrible fire on Sept.14th, AND a robbery during my birthday last Monday
(Oct. 24th), both at my office during working hours. I tend to think that
both incidents are a wake-up call for me to move on and change my job...
for some reason these incidents are far more convincing that any advice I've
    ever received!

So all that's required to make me happy is a bunch of coincidences?
Because strange as it seems, that's how I feel right now: happy. Maybe it's
not all random as I thought, and I have been taking better decisions and making better 'moves'. I am not sure. Either way, it still amazes me how things have turned and the positive changes I've been through in just one year.

I really hope I sound optimistic this time. This is what I meant from the
very beginning of this post ;-)

@proud_2b_gay456: I end up doing a kind of free association of ideas... I can't see them all in terms of coincidence either LOL Blame it in my twisted mind and my doubtful mastery of English language!

@goratrix: I can't think of a way of using a hat with your pompous copper curls LOL. I will take some presents to PY if I finally travel for Easter (against all odds). I think a white FILA dri-fit cap will be fine  I should be able get one for you by that time.

@proud_2b_gay456 (again!): thanks for reminding me about this thread... I'll post an update soon. It will not be focused on coincidences this time :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
