Default (For Women) Masculine or Feminine?

Since the guys have this kind of thread and I didn't notice one for the gals (sorry if I missed it), I made one. I'm curious to see what the gals have to say.

so ladies, do you like your women masculine? feminine? a little bit of both? or otherwise?

I like my women as feminine and curvy as they can be XD

I got asked this once. "So do you like butch women or femme women?" "Yes."

... >.> Haha, I'm really not super picky! I do have a slight preference for girls that lean more butchy or androgynous, but I love me some girly girls too. If she's quirky, has confidence, and doesn't take life too seriously, that wins me over, no matter what style she's rockin'.

That said, purely based on appearances, tomboys totally make my knees melt. But then, so do some of the more feminine ladies! It depends.

Basically I just like women, is what I'm saying? Haha.

I like my femme girls.
there are some incredibly hot butch girls out there, but being pretty butchy myself, I get along better with them as friends.

I see what you mean :P

I find tomboys and androgynous girls hot too, but I can't imagine dating one 'cus I feel like our personalities will clash or something.

I feel like I'd be the tomboy in the relationship and to contrast with that I'd wanna be with the ultimate femme of the the femmes XD

I like girls who are at least as girly as I am, and I'm pretty dang feminine myself, so there's my answer. Girly girls tend have a certain cute factor that just drives me wild. (:

I can understand that! Whatever works, y'know? I probably lean more on the side of butch than femme myself, on average (though I think actual butches would laugh if I called myself one ;P). I just like the butch and androgynous aesthetic in a girl, but what really makes me fall for a lady is that... Swagger, I guess. That whole, "Life is awesome, I'm awesome, you're awesome, fun is awesome, let's go be awesome together!" attitude. And I've met some girls who had that attitude who wore biker jackets and torn jeans, and I've met others who had it and rocked floral dresses and cute shoes. And oh god, that will turn my knees to jelly.

And I think the style itself is not quite so important to me as much as women just knowing what looks good on them, and, on some level, knowing they look good in it. ;P

Femme. But I dont like them being annoyingly girly. I'm more in the middle myself, so I would like a girl like that. But idk I just really dont like the butch type. I have some friends like that but I wouldnt date them haha.

Up until about January, I would have said femme with some exceptions. Now I can't stop thinking about butch girls... I'm femme, I guess, leaning more towards andro than I used to, and I'm usually interested in girls older than me... don't know why. But older butch girls make me feel taken care of... is that weird?

^ This is so true. Confidence makes me fall to pieces (I have none of it, but it's freaking hot).

I agree with this statement.

However, I've dated another girl in the middle, and it went well, one butch-it was ok, and a few femmes. For me, it seems that I take charge in many cases so it generally seems to work better if I'm with someone who's personality is in the middle or is femme.

I like girls with at least something butch about them, appearance or attitude wise. Still, I don't think I would get along with a total butch. But hey, who knows.

Both, with a slight preference for femmes. I'm a bit on the butch side of things, and I like to feel like I'm "the protector".

Fem. I'm pretty girly for the most part and I think fem would be best suited for me.
And then we could share clothes if we were the same size!!!

I like my women more feminine. I'm more on the feminine side myself, and I just tend to get along better with more feminine people. Actually, when I dated men, they were all pretty feminine guys too now that I think about it...

Women who are on the femmish side of andro (HELLO THERE) tend to make me drool catch my eye most often, but that's not to say I wouldn't date someone from either end of the butch-femme spectrum. There are lots of other qualities that are far more important to me.

I like 'em all.
Most girls that I've had intense crushes on have been femme, but that's simply because there aren't any butch women at my school. Except for one. And she is HOT AS ALL HELL.
I find a whole spectrum of butch-femme attractive. ^_^
And Andro girls? Shbjkarah. <3
I just like teh ladehs. =D
