My main resolutions this year were as follows:

- Admit my true feelings for the girl I like
- Come out to my extended family
- Being more diligent about school

On exactly January 2, I told the girl about my feelings for her...and as of now we've been together and happy for three months.

As for my extended family, so far this year I've told two cousins and my grandmother, so that's a start. And my schoolwork...well, it's certainly not where I want it to be, but at least I've been able to pull up my grade in physics to a B!

Overall, I'd say things are going pretty well.

How about you guys?

I had three resolutions:
-give up soda
-try stand up at least once
-improve self-confidence

I gave up soda because I don't drink soda, so I figured that one would be easy. However, I already broke that resolution this week.

Whatever, I'll continue to not drink it because I normally just don't drink soda.

Trying stand up was a resolution from last year that decided to continue this year. It's getting to the point that not only do I have less time to try it, but I also don't find it as important as I did maybe a year ago. The only way I might do it is if I feel the urge to complete a set list of jokes over summer. I don't really consider this one that important.

Improving my self-confidence was the big one. It's also the one I've stuck to the most sincerely. It's usually hard for me to assert what I want because I don't want to hurt the feelings of others for disagreeing. However, I'm learning that it's probably a lot healthier and more proactive to find that balance between being authentic and being appropriate.

Mine was to stop smoking. ..I can't say I've upheld that. But I am going to try when I'm totally content with my life because it's hard to stop when you're stressed out with everything.

I've also cut down my diet soda intake. Aspartame... I hate to see what it's doing to my brain and insides.. But at least I don't drink six a day. It's more like one every couple days or every couple weeks.

I've exercised more and drank less alcohol at parties too so...

Also, I resolved to help my mom accept homosexuality more and she seems to be doing ok..

It's good and bad in some aspects.

Come out to more people. So far, my count is 8 people. One person I don't even talk to anymore which is sad since I was her friend for 12 years. Two were my parents and they still don't believe me, they think its a 'phase', but whatever eventually they will accept it. And this year I've told two more people than before, so I'm doing good. :]
One of which is the girl I like, but I am yet to tell her I like her.
Lets see when I actually do that, if ever. -.-

Thats great to hear. Well I dont really have new years resolutions but my life by far now is better than it was for quite sometime.

I cant remeber the first one but somehow two of my new years resoultions from 2009 snuck into this years and there:

To say what I'm really feeling

and to go with the flow of things

I didnt really do those the year before but this year I did without really picking up on it till a couple days ago and I'm happy that I did cause... I don't really have a reason except that this is the first time I've been happy in awhile and Im completely content about it

Redo all my c grade or lower english course work (i refuse to fail at a language i've been studying my whole life) all except one piece has been risen to B- or higher
Actually get round to writing a novel i started...300 words :P
Get fit not lose weight, but to be able to run a few hundred metres without dying - fail

I had a bunch of others but i forgot about them ;P

so far around this time of the year, i havent stared at a stray dog till it ran away, havent purposely started a fight in my neihbourood(i am tempted though !) , and havent called random numbers and abused them .....! wow! i suddenly wanna do all of this now!

2010 was kinda rocky but i see it getting better the facebook physic said if i keep thinking positive,positive things will happen. So i been keeping a positive mind

Completed
Get parttime at my job i was working flex below parttime hours they offered me a position finally.
Being more positive and not having the hopeless feeling

Semi Completed
Going to College i completed the finical aid part i am attending open house next month i hope i can wrap everything up with that
Massive clean up getting rid of clutter and junk and maintaining a clean room
Having that Special Friend me and this coworker started talking i need to step up and and call him and stuff and showing some interest i been a nervous wreck. I guess i don't want to look annoying and desperate.
Needs to be completed

Making New friends and being more social
Losing weight cutting back on junk food and soda and juice
And sticking to goals and stuff
and keeping the computer neat and organized
Stop staying up late also i would love to have a set bedtime

1. Exercise almost every day - I'm very surprised that I've actually being doing this
