Those are really cool. I've studied quite a few of them in psychology at school. Milgram's experiments are pretty interesting, especially when we consider 'just how far we'll go for authority'.
That was a really interesting read esp the one about obedience (as Dave said) and the Prison one...Thanks for that surfrboykai
dudeeeee the obedience test (i also watched the video) is a boner killer im not in the mood anymore damn that hurts
That stuff is really interesting and REALLY f*<ked up. Who ever decided that monkey head transplant was a good idea was sick and twisted, and how could someone shock a puppy!?!? They're way to cute, I could nvr hurt them. Although picturing an elephant on acid makes me giggle On ABC, I think, they reran the shocking people test and got basically the same results. No one acctually got shocked in their test tho, they just had people yelling as if they were being shocked, it sounded rly convincing tho.
i wish i cud say i hadnt read or seem them b4 but i have, they r all stilkinda sick tho and hu eva fught of em must of bin a sadistic bastard in short, or just have no empathy/sympathy or there just gettin way 2 involved with work
psychologists where pretty testy back then, since they didnt think about ethics at all. specially with those tests where they would traumatize a kid by introducing a rabbit as an unconditioned variable and then condition the baby that every time he would he the rabbit he would corelate it to a loud sound and thus frighten him. also in AP psychology we got to condition our classmates that was fun
wow. enlgihtening. im taking a class on psychology this year, and some of this stuff sounds pretty interesting to learn.
