Default Mother's Day

I don't know if there is already a thread, but I searched and couldn't find one. If there is I apologize.

What did you get your mother for Mother's Day?

I wish I had a talent so I could make them something, it would make it far more special but I have absolutely none so I buy things with savings

I am cooking for my Mom tomorrow. She has had to work in her nursery on Mother's Day for at least 30 years. She's finally retired so she can relax! My youngest daughter is very crafty so she made me a wall hanging that is absolutely adorable of her and her siblings standing on chairs doing the dishes when they were little and then there is another photo of them all grown up. It says Live, Laugh, Love on it. I got a pedicure from my other daughter which will be a treat. Then my son and his partner got me an Amazon gift card. I'm happy!

^Technically, everyday should be Mother's Day. xD

Unfortunately, I've been busy with school stuff so I couldn't go home for the weekend. I feel rather guilty about not seeing my mom or getting her anything... but hey, like I said, everyday should be like Mother's Day. It doesn't have to be this specific day for me to show how appreciative I am of her.

I got her a coupon for a full body massag & facial (a professional coupon from a spa).

Tomorrow, we're playing a bunch of board games with the family as per her request. Should be fun

Mother's day was back in March for us Brits. -Chuckles-

But I sent my Auntie a text and send my grandmother a card. My actual mother didn't get anything. >.>

My mom doesn't want traditional gifts for Mother's day----instead we each individually plan some sort of outing/activity with her. I won't be home till June, though, so I haven't planned mine yet.

I made 14 flowers in origami, since she's a mother (and my mother) for 14 years ^^ I left them in the kitchen because she's always the first one to get up I also left a card I drew and painted myself
