Lately, I have been quite stressed about life and how it is going to turn out for me!
So, how do you all subside such irrational fears, if you have any!

    Vodka til you fall asleep.
Others prefer meditation, listening to music, going for a run, hooking up with strangers, writing lists, drawing pictures, starting a journal, long phonecalls with friends and retail therapy.

Personally, I find watching comedy works really well, as well as having a beasty gym sesh. Anything that takes your mind off of what you're stressing out about will work though.

Maybe you need to get to the root of the problem though. Why do you feel stressed about your future?

How do I de-stress myself? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2... Playing a nice relaxing game like that is always helpful after a long day.

Well, most of the time, I eat a lot... But that's been replaced by the gym. I don't know, there's something about using up all my energy and just leaving too tired to worry about other things that makes it so soothing...

Otherwise, I go to my favorite park and just sit on this particular tree overlooking all of the park. It's very pretty

Just sit back and do what you enjoy doing. Watch TV, read a book, play a video game, etc.

I usually play Rock Band when I need to de-stress. If that isn't an option, I usually just browse the web aimlessly, though I spend quite a bit of time on this site and tvtropes.org.

Run. Listen to really loud metal. Watch Tarantino movies. Masturbate.

(not all at the same time, of course!)

I was really waiting for this one to pop up

But really - I play music/listen to music to de-stress myself. When i don't have this, I really don't know what to do with myself -i end up going crazy stressful.

I often curse at random things that have nothing to do with what I am mad at.

    For example~

I am mad at someone at school.

I will tell a wall I bump into to go - itself and the fridge that wont close to burn in a fire.

    It helps.

    *is insane*

During the day: I'll walk up the street to a very large boulder and sit on top of it quietly until I feel relaxed.

Night: Drive to the top of a particular street & park (I live in the foothills) and overlook the entire valley (This is definitely my favorite one)

    SURFING.

not to be cliche or anything haha but working out getting the blood flowing is a pretty good way to keep your head. endorphins make you feel good.

It depends on why I'm stressed. TV and reading help if I just need distraction. Food is always a good idea (I'm always a lot more irritable when hungry). Masturbation is usually a good one. Meditation can help, but it can also backfire as it can make it easier to focus on why you're stressed. And talking about stress is probably the best method of all; find a friend or someone else you can talk to and just vent.

Bicycling at race speeds. If I go out for an hour or two and average 20+ mph, even if I'm still angry or stressed afterward, I won't have the energy to worry about it.
