Default Themed Costume Party...

Like the title says, I am going to a costume party in a month. However, I have to order my costume sometime in the next 48 hours, and I don't have ANY idea on what to dress as. The theme is Cartoon/Anime/Comic/Manga and so far the most popular suggestions from my friends are:

Neji Hyuga from Naruto
Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7
Fai D. Flourite from Tsubasa

However, I want to know what you guys think. And you can make suggestions of your own too!

Wakka, FFX, if they have the costume.

If not, go for Cloud!

I don't know who any of those characters are.

So I'm voting with Ben - Spongebob it is!

I was going to suggest Alex from A Clockwork Orange until I saw it's about cartoons/comics alone.

Someone from X-Men maybe? Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast...

Hell yes! A guy is instantly 1,000 times sexier at a party when dressed as a member of the X-Men.

I vote for dressing up as waldo, telling everyone, then not turning up.

The Waldo thing is a great idea, but it does mean missing the party.

I'd suggest trying to think outside the box. Almost everyone is going to dress as a main character of one of the big cartoon/anime shows. What can you do to stand out in the sea of manga/anime characters?

* Dress as an otaku. (Hopefully, you can do this without being too offensive.) Wear an ill-fitting homemade anime T-shirt, and wear a vest over top with every pocket stuffed with homedrawn anime and fanfaction.

* Dress as a non-descript character from a manga/cartoon. Instead of being the main character or the bad guy, be the mother. The bad guy's robot assistant. The helpful police officer.

* Dress as a manga. As an actual comic book.

I voted cloud, but if you go the FFVII route, I'd be more inclined to vote Vincent or Sephiroth
