so, i've recently decided that for the first time, i'd like to venture into doing Drag. it's something I never thought i would do. But I'm someone who dances and sings all the time. So i figure, if all i have to do is throw on a dress and a wig and i get some extra money for it? I'm down.

Problem is, IT IS SO HARD to find all the clothes. Anybody know a place that carries a size 12 mens pump? And finding a good wig isn't easy. Don't get me started on the Corset and the dress.

IDEAS?

Just go to the store, pick a bunch of the same things only in different sizes, and try them all on and see which one fits.

That's what I do.

Good wigs cost a lot of money. The best kind in my experience is VogueWigs. They cost hundreds of dollars. I have a friend who works at one of their stores so I get to mess around in them sometimes. lol

Anyhow. Wigs are so expensive. Its best to make your own. All u need is someone's head, stoking, some high quality synthetic locks (just to be on a budget) and some hair glue.

I have made a wig before. Was like doing 9th grade art class all over again---yes, that easy.
And your going for drag right? not Tranny. So sythetic hair shouldnt be so bad. Just get the micro braids and you will be fine. ^_^

Look for stores particularly aimed at tall women.

List of shops aimed at tall women

Big shoes - you would probably be a women's size 13 wide.

Drag is something I am thinking about also. I figure it would be great to be Woman for Halloween.

I'm not exactly a small guy so it will be an interesting challenge. I'll be interested to hear what you find.
