    Enjoy and comment.

I like when you profess your love
And I am swooped up like a dove
Into the sky, thrown in the air
The wind througout my messy hair
My head is light with thoughts of you
Of things we may or may not do
Perchance we be as one forever
I would collapse like feeble feather
For you, my love, cause bashfulness
And wrap me in a cloak of bliss
Profess, I shall, my love for you
To share our lives between us two

    Hope? What worth has hope?
    Like an elegant butterfly
    Fore'er b'yond thy grasp
    Teasing, taunting, begging
Urging thy feet to follow it
    But, alas! It floats higher
    Into the sky, gleaming, vast
    Thou reacheth - it climbs
    Thou shouteth - it cackles
    For sweet butterfly 'tis not
    Forsooth! 'tis a raven
Coarse, black as pitch and tar
A trickster, whose victim thou art
    It soars away
    Thy knees give way
    Thine eyes break in tears
    Thy mind, 'tis muddled
Thou canst not think, feel, touch
Thou canst do naught but wallow
    Hope? I mock thee, truly
    Who proclaim'th its necessity
    What good is hope?
Hope has done naught for me

To ask to put to ink how I feel now
Is a daunting feat even to bright minds.
I but wish to feel free, to feel right,
Instead of caged and lost in love and spite.

My plight can be fixed by but one
Who does not wish to see that I exist.
It seems I can do naught to make this stop
To usher in once more comfort’ble bliss.

O days when I could but admire
The object of my heart’s desire,
    Come back, for I do need for passion;
Or if not, then O days of yearning,
Go plague the minds of those deserving.

    "Conform!" yells Culture
    His face red with rage
    "I am superior, and you--
    You're a shame!"

    "Conform!" screams Society
    Her fist skyward held
    "You must be normal!
    Not to do so's insane!"

    "Conform!" cries Religion
    Pointing t'ward your face
    "I am the one truth!
    Don't dare fall for fakes!"

    The children all stare
    Confused and in fright
    They beg of their parents
"Help us choose what is right!"

    "It's all right sweeties,"
    They call to their spawn
    And with one gentle push
What was gold is now gone

Wow, if you wrote these, they are very good!
The first one is so cute. c: Reminds me of something I'd write, haha. And the second one is really creative... I like how you use old language; no one does that anymore.
The last one is very creative as well. With the personification and all. Hell, they're all wonderful!
