It was made of plastic foam and fiberglass over a steel frame, which is all that remained early Tuesday...

That is why I like being a lutheren. we had a single cross that hangs in our sanctuary, and we dont worship anyone but God. All you have to do is watch the movie "jesus camp", and you will see why building statues and worshiping images can turn creepy really fast.
