    I use meditation.
What do you do after a stressful situation to better your mind and relax?
Remember bottling up your emotions good or bad is unhealthy and is best to let it out in any way possible, but within reason(no hurting any living creature:eusa_naug )

After a fight with someone, i usually crank up the volume on the music and play GTA San Andreas. Something about the mindless violence and rampant crime takes my mind off of the problems at present. I guess it lets me take out my anger and frustration on "people" that won't really get hurt, but maybe its setting me up for a life of crime hehe....(so if you see me running old ladies on the street, youll now know why)

Anyway, also talking to my friends is good, when Im more sad/emotional, or watching mindless television programs, specifically Friends and Scrubs (chosen because i know all the words to every episode i have on DVD which means i dont really have to focus to laugh at the jokes(I have all ten seasons of Friends, and 4/6 seasons of Scrubs (will soon be getting the other two)))

I like to listen to music too, or go for a drive in my car AND listen to music! I will call a friend, or log into EC to make me feel better.

In a weaker moment, I'll eat something that isn't all that good for me...

To be honest, I often jerk off. Other than that, I watch TV or go see a movie. Or read but I find that reading is harder when you're wound up. Or I go swimming if I can.

And I do like talking things through with friends but sometimes I think I just talk too much about my problems, and occasional all it does is wind me right up again. So sometimes, initially, it's best for me to just try to avoid being "in" it, where "it" is whatever's stressing me out.

Well, of course, I do that too, but punching walls is quicker.

For you, maybe. I've always been precocious, though.

And really, jerking off does a hell of lot less damage to my hands than punching a wall would. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

when i'm stressed i find the best thing is to just let your mind blank out either with music, tv, movies, internet, whatever works and then come back to it later with someone you trust.

My stress relief has got to be music and deep breathing. And of course there's nothing like a bit of ladylike language to vent that stress as well but I try to avoid that course of action!

  14. I find that talking about with a friend or two is the most helpful whem I'm feeling extremely stressed out.

If I don't have any means of contacting them, I read or listen to music.

I either run, listen to music or go on Xbox Live and go into matchmaking on Halo 2 or Gears of War and take my anger out by slaughtering who ever I get thrown into a game with

  16. Walking, listening to music and talking to myself 0.0 (im not crazy!) usually all three at the same time too!
    and of course, getting off!

There's only so much kleenex I can personally afford to buy.

Then again, I now have a hole in my wall, so maybe I made the wrong choice.

I honestly think I bottle it up too =) Maybe I come on the computer or watch T.V. to relieve stress? Just to do something unstressful and thoughtless =)

I exercise. I'm an avid cyclist, so I either go for a long bike ride or a long walk. Usually by the time I'm done, I'm too worn out to expend any more energy on whatever was stressing me out.

    Drink?

I wish I was kidding but is seems I drink the most the school terms that are the hardest. Last term (during the summer) was honestly hell on earth, and I drank more than any other four month period.

Ever since I got my marks back my urge to drink has drastically decreased. Now at most I might have a couple drinks on the weekend.

Other than that I like going for loooooong walks. At night, in the rain, whatever.
