I've become a little more open and comfortable with being gay, so a few days ago I created a profile on a GLBT networking site, sort of a facebook for gays. It seemed like a step I should take. Gotta get out there and meet other people, etc.

Of course, you immediately get messages from creepers and whatnot, but one guy started talking to me and he's really effing nice, and if he delivers what the pictures promise, then OH MAN. Haha.

He seems genuine and we have some things in common, so we thought we should get together. We're gonna meet up at this kool Mexican place by the beach tonight. I'm so damn nervous, I can't believe this is happening, yesterday was the first day I talked to him. He's my age, but pretty much fully out and a lot more experienced than me.

It's just he and I. I've never been on a date with a guy before. Is this a date? I don't even know, all I know is I haven't even met the guy in person, but I'm smiling more than I should be haha

Nervous.......

Hoooooly shit.

He's so damn cute. And he's nice. And we have some stuff in common but not too much so that we're the same guy. And we talked for 4 hours and it was completely comfortable. Every once in awhile one of us would drop the hint of how attractive the other was (or something along those lines, you know?) and we kept it interesting, but innocent for the most part. And the weirdest thing, after a little while, I felt totally at ease.

After awhile he kinda brought up what was I doing next week and I said not much, and then he got really awkward and was kinda like "Uhh, well.....I'd like to uhh...see you again" and I was like

Hahahahaha, and it felt good. We didn't hook up or even kiss or anything, but damn I wanted to. At the end we said bye and he gave me a hug, and holy shit I almost melted

I think it was a date, I guess it was. Haha. Either way, I'm really attracted to him and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way. Haha, THIS IS WHAT THAT FEELING IS SUPPOSED TO BE. This is a taste of what I've been waiting for. Flogging through all the shit has led me to this guy, and even if it doesn't work out, it still feels good and I'm glad I took this step. I'm really grateful to EC for all your help and advice. Thanks a lot guys. I mentioned to him the website and he said that it's great I have that. I'm prob gonna see him soon too.
