I really love drawing but most of the time I'm not sure what to draw. I've been trying to think of some type of project to give myself but I can't come up with anything. So I was hoping I could get some ideas on here. Drawing is my main thing, but I'm open to other types of arts and ways to express myself.

Painting?
I love painting because you don't even need to paint anything. I usually just grab a blank canvas and some paint and would just let my brush sway whichever direction it wants to go.

I think painting is the best type of art to express your feelings, and without no one knowing. For example, just yesterday I painted a transvestite that looked similar to Picasso's Dora Maar au Chat. My parents love Picasso so they hung it up. What they don't know is that the feelings behind it is that sometimes I want to be a female.

I know it may sound weird .. but draw the first thing you think of that stresses you ! i just read this not-so-intelligent-article about how artists who are either stressed or unhappy, always end up making a piece of shit that sells for millions!

Try some like sureal stuff. Like a moon with a monster's face in it. Or like a jabberwocky.

Or something like a kid swimming and their parent isn't watching them and a shark fin is cutting through the water.

Do you have a favorite comic book superhero or TV character? Draw an image of them looking cool, or on a rooftop, or in the middle of a fight!
