| Guest Posts: n/a | I thought It would be fun for everyone to post their funny gay bar stories or any other experience people have had at gay bars. I just recently turned 18 and went to one not far from my town. I went with just one friend the frist time and had fun, but I was really nervous. Also, my friend and I went on a thursday night (obviously our first time) and there was like no one there. We also learned to check out the clubs website, before we go next time, cuz apparently thursdays are the days they have male strippers But all in all we had fun, even tho it wasnt what we expected lol |

There were seven of us that went and the other 6 paid the entry fee and had gone inside without incident, I was just getting my change and the guy guarding the door stopped me as I went inside. I thought he was going to ask for ID, but he leaned in and handed me a piece of paper and whispered "Here, have a fun time in the Boom Boom Room" I think I turned the brightest shade of red. When I got inside I read the paper, which was a coupon for a free shot in the Boom Boom Room. I gave it to the coworker and they laughed since the door guy was obviously hitting on me ![]()

A rather flouncy gentleman came up to me and slapped me. However, he then went on to ask whether my name was Dave, to which I responded, "No, I'm Ben, why did you just slap me?". His response: "Crap, I've just slapped the wrong person again." I was fairly drunk at this point so obviously found it hilarious, still do to be honest. |

It wasn't that great. I was terrified and sat in the corner sipping a beer and staring at the ground while my friends ran around and tried to get guys to talk to me. It was awkward. Then whenever I would move, it was really crowded and my friends would follow me and one of them would like, pinch my ass real quick. Then when I would freak out and turn around, they would act confused and point to whatever random guy was right next to me and say "it was him". They did that about 8 times and I never caught on. We all got hit on, but they pretended they were boyfriends and that I was their single friend. Fucking freaks.....lol. Last weekend, I had my second experience at a gay bar. I went to this rooftop gentlemen's night on this hotel in Hillcrest with my 2 gay friends, and it was holy shit a whole bunch of gay guys lol. About 95% of them I wanted absolutely nothing to do with. And then this one guy, Steve, this DRUNK dude about 6'3'' and 270 lbs of NOT muscle, lol, came up to the three of us. He kept shaking my friend D's hand and every time he would, he would gesture with his left hand and not very subtly knock my junk! The other guy with us, M, saw it and was like "Whoah, buddy, what are you doing there?", lol and he did it like 4 fucking times till I moved a little farther away. He was smashed outta his mind and then he started very very obviously hitting on me and staring at me until he asked me for a kiss and I said no thanks, but he asked about 50 times and then I let him kiss me on the cheek and he fucking MADE OUT WITH THE SIDE OF MY FACE. I had a fucking horrified expression and my friends started fucking crying they were laughing so hard. And then after about 10 seconds I moved away and we finally got away from him. Then I went to the bathroom and took fucking 10 minutes to pee cuz there were 80 guys in there at the same time. I don't think gay bars are my scene. Dive bar with a fat tire any day.

| Guest Posts: n/a | ^hahaha can't wait til i turn 21 uhh.. what's the name of that hotel so i can avoid it? anyway my contribution, i went to france with about 12 mixed company friends before i was "out", and about 7-8 of us went bar hopping on the first night in Leon. so we tried a few bars but none of them had enough seats. then finally we found this bar called XL and 2 of the guys in our group went in and asked if they had room for our group, and they did. so we were walking to the back room where they had the table and about half way my friend amanda turns to me and says "there are no girls in this bar." my first bar experience just happened to be a gay bar lol, and there were pictures and ads with naked men on them all over the place. we decided to stay for at least a beer cause they were cheap and we had nowhere else to go, and then after the beer, the guys all wanted shots (none of the girls did), so i was elected to ask for jeger shots, and i tried, i really did, but all the old french guys just sat there smiling and laughing until i gave up...eventually we were able to order shots, but it wasn't jeger, they gave us something that had something pink floating over a white creamy looking stuff, but we figured we paid for it, why not, so we cheered, and all the guys hesitated except me, possibly cause what it looked like didn't freak me out quite as much as the rest lol. but i took my 2 second head start to finish and say "mm.. salty" as the rest of the guys were in the middle of their shots. 2 of them said they almost barfed then and there. we never did find out what that drink was called, but we dubbed it "The Strawberry Sperm Cake" for the record, the shot wasn't actually salty, but it was a fun prank. And I have seen it all lol. I've seen two leather daddies jerking each other off on the patio, two people screwing on the dance floor. The worse is that I had to go to the bathroom and I get into the last stall and I hear moaning coming from the next stall so ofcourse I see 3 feet, 2 facing the wall and one between the 2 facing the door. so I finish my business wash my hands and hit the stall door hard told the ladies they had to leave. first one comes out and has a blood ring around her mouth up her cheeks and I didnt even let her look in the mirror I walked her through the packed club (about 500 people) and out the door it was totally the walk of shame for that girl. came back and got the other girl and made her walk out and just before we got to the door I suggested she get a tampon on her way home. It was sooooooooooo gross! We all laughed for weeks, they never came back. I waited to see them again to totally make fun of them.

We'd been friends for years, but he came out way before I ever dared to. So he already knew the local gay bars well enough. After I came out, he decided that I needed to visit a gay bar and check out the local gay population ASAP. And he invited a couple of other straight friends to make me feel at ease. They were pretty enthousiastic. I was not, but they wouldn't take no for an answer Once inside, I went into shell shock. We found a table in the corner, and the others immidiately started looking around, and seeing what the gay scene had to offer. While they were pretty nervous themselves, the guys were pretty elated when they got second looks from some. In short, they had a great time. I just kept to my corner, looked intently into my drink, and kept thinking "don't look too gay, don't look too gay..." I must have looked really unhappy, because after an hour, they decided that I really needed a drink in a regular bar to recover from the experience ![]() I wouldn't say it was too horrible (or even atypical, I've heard lots of stories like this). More like a "rite of passage" ![]() - Second time, my friend wanted to drag me to a gay party. and we went to the gay bar beforehand. Sadly, it was a real popular party, and everyone was already going there. So we were the only ones in the bar. I was more at ease that time, obviously, but my friend doesn't count this as "visiting a gay bar" - Third time is a "not-gay-bar" experience. I moved out on my own, to a different city. And my same friend from the above two stories was in town one evening. He was pretty cautious this time about bringing the subject up, but somehow we got on the topic, and he said: OK, let's go hit the bar scene! Cue an hour later, with us slogging through the city, and him going: "Let me get this straight, you live in this city for a year and a half now, you agreed with hitting the gay bar, and now you're telling me you have no idea where there's any gay bars to be found? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?" So we just went back to my place and drank ice tea ![]() So all in all, I haven't gotten too much luck with gay bars. And while I at least did my research, and now know where the gay bars in town are, I'm not courageous enough to go into a bar all by myself. I'm hoping that fourth time's the charm...

| I didn't exactly go to a gay bar, but a lesbian event in a bar. Nothing too interesting happened, except that I ended up dancing with a group and passed around someone's hat, so all 6-ish of us wore the hat at some stage. Still don't know whose it was.

We ended up singing out on the patio a bunch of boy band, choir, and RENT songs to one of the drag queens. When she went back out to start her show, we ended up singing La Vie Boheme to the entire club. So...fun. |

| To be honest, I don't like dogs. Regular Member ![]() Gender: Male Orientation: Homosexual Out Status: I typically don't get to choose. Location: USA Age: 23 Posts: 264 Join Date: Aug 2010 | I went to a gay bar with some friends, and throughout the night we misplaced someone. I went to go look for this person, so I'm just walking through the bar looking around trying to find her. This old guy like in his 40s comes up to me and says "You look lost," so I reply "I'm just looking for someone right now" ('cause I knew he was trying to hit on me... >_>) And then he smiles at me and says "Aren't we all?" :/ I quickly left and told my friends I couldn't find the friend we were looking for 'cause I didn't want to continue my search. xD (We eventually found her. I was drunk, so I don't know how or what she was doing. I just remember seeing her later that night). ![]() |
