Interesting Experiment on Homophobia

I read about that in my human sexuality book! Reaction formation, anyone?

 

It is so true, some homphobes are that way because they themselves are questioning, or gay, but cant admit it, so they become homophobic to suppress it. It is really sad actually.

I've read lots of articles that support the experiment - that homophobes may act that way as they aren't sure of their sexuality. The last homophobe I tried to explain that to nearly killed me - is that more proof!!

Thats an very interesting experiment. You can tell most of the time that people are overdoing it with being homophobic

 

Well not really, given that the non-homophobic "straight" guys weren't aroused by the gay porn. If they had been too, then that would have been more of an indication that people are just sexual.

 

I've suspected it for a while, actually.
